Now I was in the Army.

I took ASVAB. They were desperate to put me into any tech or leadership position with my scores. I was a 31U, which doesn't exist anymore, It's like signal support. Basically I got to setup routers.

But I'm saying all this partly cuz of ADHD, partly because I remember everyone else in basic who did not score high. But also did not make the cut for infantry, which has a different training track.

I remember how dire they were. But they wanted duty, honor, country.

But now I'm imagining the people that couldn't even pass that PT or test, those are the people in this post.

And you know these assholes don't give a s*** about duty honor country, death before dishonor.

Disgusting. Shameful. Embarrassing.
 
I just saw a video of a lady in New York, who looked like she was on her way to work, who stepped in front of an armored vehicle, then a crowd built and chased the guys away. Fuckin' bike messengers and such. That was heartening.

I'm pretty sure the standards for ICE are simply: do you think brown people should have fewer rights than white people? If so, you're hired!

A friend of mine who is active service had this to say at the beginning of all the ICE raids and bullshit going on in LA at the time (I haven't spoken to him in a while, but I believe he's very close with a few people that were 'deployed' to LA) had this to say to me - this is an exact quote: "These motherfuckers pointing guns at fucking Americans are required to follow fewer rules of engagement and codes of behaviour than I was in Iraq. They're shouldering rifles at my goddamn countrymen in two seconds when I had to ask three people for permission to even point my gun at the Iraqi dickhead that was already actively shooting at me. Fuck this entire administration and all the soldiers that will happily mow down our own people to make Republicans cream themselves."

I copied and saved that shit into my phone because it hit me so hard.
 
Does it count as weather manipulation if I piss on your leg and tell you it's raining? Because there are certainly folks who'd believe it. And because I'm gay, that means my pee is gay and contains gay chemtrails that currently only affect frogs, but will soon evolve to affect humans as well. I mean, that's just basic science.

My aunt on my Dad's side- classic conservative, anti-vax, passively racist woman that she is- is totally on the whole "government is tracking us through X and Y" thing. The kicker is, since she had a stroke a couple years ago, she relies heavily on the help of Siri and Alexa, and refuses to not use them. She claims that, because they're owned by private companies, they're not being used to spy on us. Ay Caramba; I really do hate that I share DNA with some of these people.

I will say that it is nice to have actual confirmation that I have no need to be physically intimidated by these weak clowns. These guys are what we in the fight community would refer to as “one-hit shitters*” or “glass-jaws”.

On the other hand: weak, scared and poorly-trained is a recipe for Bad Shit to go down.

*because they go down after one hit, usually shitting themselves

Yeah, the problem is that in a normal street scenario - some loudmouth fuckwit wannabe gets loud and he either runs away when you approach, or he gets his teeth knocked down his throat and spends three days in the hospital. These motherfuckers have the full authority of the US government behind them and when they get their wee little panties twisted in fright, they'll just open fire on you and never see a day in jail for it.

The best thing that could possibly happen in the US right now with ICE raids is if people start opening fire on them. Straight up. They are masked men, with no identification, in unmarked cars, kidnapping people. Why isn't anyone shooting them? Where's all those stand-your-ground, open carry fuckbags?
