U.S. Politics

While even as a kid I knew that the various myths I was taught about America were total bullshit propaganda, it’s still hard for my brain to process that the whole “give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free” deal is just something totally discarded by so much of this country. Like I was taught that that was *the* point of America: the melting pot, the place where immigrants were enthusiastically welcomed and that that was what specifically made this country great. Like, yes: I knew that was only an ideal and also absolute horseshit in practice, but just the utter spin-around on it is so fucking despicable.

My sole purpose in life at that point would be to find this guy and put him in the ground.

At its core, they oppose multiracial democracy.
I'm sure some of them feel that way, but I would suggest it is less sinister and more selfish a reason. You see it especially in immigrants who believe they got into the country the "right" way. It is the idea that I am here, or I did it the "right" way so fuck everyone else because I'm safe. Pure selfishness.

Any other president, that wasn't supported by a fucking doomsday cult, would be removed by now JUST on cognitive capabilities alone. I fucking DARE any Trump supporter right now to say that's not true. Imagine if fucking Obama had been unable to form sentences and was ruminating on whether he was going to get into Heaven while clearly not even being certain he was the president.

Even if Trump were actually the best president ever and had done amazing things for the country, this would be disqualifying. For the worst president in history who also happens to be a narcissist and a rapist? Nah, let's just keep him until he accidentally falls asleep on the big red button, right?
