Next week Target is having 30% off all TF toys.

Hopefully y'all have better stock at your stores than I do at any of mine.

I'm gonna try to get a bunch of stuff price adjusted. I had picked up the two Aerialbots, the two Primes and Megatronus, Red Alert and G2 Grimlock. Aerialbots were down a couple bucks when I picked up, RA and Grimlock were $15 off $75+, but an additional 30% off could be worth the trip.

So, apparently Target doesn't do price adjustments with receipts alone anymore. I went and tried, and they told me I had to bring the items in to return them first, then re-buy them for the sale price. Even though in the past, they've done this just by using the item numbers on the receipts. I jumped through their hoops, because fortunately, I hadn't opened most of what I picked up last week. So I got the discount on Solus, Prima, Megatronus, and the Aerialbots. It saved me about $55 so it was totally worth it. I already opened Red Alert and Grimlock and threw out their packages, so I gotta settle for the $15 off $75 (which brought 35+55 to 90, -15=75 anyway).

That's odd never needed to bring in the actual item, but I haven't done an adjustment too recently.

I've been passing on the Aerialbots with the plan to wait for BBTS. I really want them for the combined mode, so I figure I can wait. I've been seeing them mostly at Walmart, but I did see one the other day at Target. I'm sure he's gone by now. I'd have to pick them up if found on sale. Haven't seen Constucticons yet.

I saw a Scrapper at Meijer today. Oddly enough, I got my shipping email for him today. I saw a single Aerialbot (gold face guy) last week at Target, I believe.

I have trouble with a lot of the combiners individual names since I'm only really interested in the full robot. Most of them I can identify by their alt mode, but I have no clue at all when it comes to Arielbots (besides Silverbolt). I can never remember a couple of the Stunticons too and my mind thinks that Hun-Grr is the only Terrorcon.

The Terrorcons were the only full combiner team I had as a kid so I know them each pretty well. Aerialbots are the most difficult for me because they all practically have the same alt mode. There’s at least some context clues with Protectobots or Combaticons’ alt modes. It takes effort for me to remember the Stunticon and Technobot names too, but I’ve gotten better.

I could identify the Constructicons and Arielbots at one time, but not anymore.
One of my toy finds as a kid that really stands out involved Constructicons at Service Merchandise. That store had various formats in my area. My hometown store was essentially a storefront with a jewelry counter and a watch display with all the rest of the stuff in the back. You write the item numbers from catalog and hand the card to an employee. Another store was fancy like a boutique with dim, subtle lighting. I was walking around the toy are, not seeing anything new, then bam, a wall of Constructicons. That Service Merchandise is now one of Target's smaller format stores.

There's not really a good thread for this, but I just saw the Transformers x NFL football helmets were on Amazon for preorder (for Dec shipping), $24.99. The bot mode didn't look terrible from the angles shown on Amazon, so I ordered one, even though I haven't been much of a sports fan in recent years. I would've preferred one of the NY teams, but went with Green Bay. Cowboys were immediately not considered.

I preordered the KC one to go on my shelf with my other little bit of KC memorabilia. The helmet mode looks good but I don't love that in the robot mode the logo displays upside down so I'll probably leave it as a helmet if I end up with only the one.

I went in Ollies today, and they had Transformers The Movie Autobot Perceptor and Insecticon Kickback for $9.99 each. So, if you have an Ollies near you and need either of those, check em out.

I actually picked up one of each. I have a Transformers Collection that covers all the characters and looks I wanted, So, I don't buy them very often anymore. But I had never picked these 2 up. And $10 each, I couldn't pass them up.
