Tracking toy tariffs

The moment he thinks his ship is sinking, he'll try to sneak back into the democratic party

I do hope that, were age or cholesterol to finally catch up with him, we'd see a breakdown as the guys below him start infighting. It feels like a lot of people are getting what they want by riding that cult of personality precisely because none of them have the cult of personality to ride of their own. I do think Republicans as a voting block are more consistent and loyal (the old saying about how Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line) but the extent to which they can push things like the tariffs is very strongly rooted in this bizarrely unbreakable stranglehold he has over his supporters. I have to hope, HOPE, that this sort of thing only happens once a century. Which might be my long way of saying "I hope I die before I see this happen again or worse."

The CMD news sucks so much. I used them for stuff I was really impatient for just to get it quicker. Not too often but it was nice when it was something I was heavily anticipating.

Same. And I was hoping to use them to ride out some of the potential issues with things getting directly to the U.S.
But we shall see: they took this cautious route the first time Trump puffed up about tariffs, then were able to back off.

Seriously. Looking at Trump I can't understand how he hasn't had at least one massive circulatory incident yet. I get it, he is rich, and the president, so he has access to medical care pretty much no one else has. However that doesn't completely negate his metrics and terrible eating habits. Not to mention his sleep cycle must be a complete shit show. I mean he is "bleeting" (I love people have started using that term instead of tweet) at seemingly all hours of the day. I don't care how zoned out he is, that kind of stuff has to catch up to him.

Senate deadlocked 49-49 on resolution to block tariffs. Not that it stood a chance in the House, but what a pathetic pack of cowards. Wish I could say they'd be remembered in the midterms, but I'm still not convinced half the voters in this country understand what tariffs even are in the first place.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. His parents died at 93 and 88.

Not just this quarter's GDP, but Trump is also pre-blaming Biden if next quarter's GDP numbers disappoint as well. Why are any of us expected to take this man seriously?

I figure he has to have sleep apnea at the very least and you know he isn't using his CPAP machine. It's quite a marvel he hasn't had a stroke yet.

You're not. If you're listening to him at all and reacting to anything he says while fully realizing how often he bold-face lies then you've unknowingly slipped into masochism. I urge everyone to have more respect for your own intelligence and stop suffering that fool. I made that decision early in his 2015/2016 campaign and have been so much happier just assuming anything that comes out of his mouth is probably disinformation that's a waste of time to try interpreting.

I only listen to his actual words when he's done something that's grabbing credible headlines such as all of the tariff shenanigans. I still can't figure out where the flaw in his logic regarding tariffs lies, but I'm sure it'll get revealed eventually and I'll end up regretting trying to figure him out on those because the real reason is more likely to be something he hasn't said publicly yet.

Not to body shame, but given Trump and Musk's weird body shapes, I can only imagine they're tiny aliens inside a human-shaped robot. It would also explain the baffling lack of humanity, comical consumption of classic American fast food, and odd vocabulary/sense of humor. As opposed to Vance, who gives the vibes of "the guy in the alien movie who's been impregnated or possessed by an alien and is trying to hide it from the group." So long as he does their bidding, they won't activate whatever they've implanted in him.

Truth be told, I feel this is probably the most satisfying possibility.
