Top Ten Talk & Campaigning (for Official Top 10 & Wishlist Threads)

I couldn't find room on my list for most of the classic New Mutants, Trinary, Jean Grey (X-Men: Red), Sage, Havok (Age of Apocalypse), Revanche, or a whole slew of Marauders and Acolytes I want. C'est la vie.
 
The New Mutants are really tough. If you want 'em, you want 'em all roughly equally -- which is pretty much top ten for me. But they take up literally more than half the list: Cannonball, Wolfsbane, Karma, Mirage, Cypher, Magma ...

I threw just Magma on my list since she's never had a figure.

For many of the neglected teams in ML over the years, I've always been a fan of a "representative" vote - i.e., voting for the character from the group most likely to chart, because otherwise most of my top 10 is just the o.g. Guardians of the Galaxy. The problem is always figuring out who is going to garner the most votes. Magma seems like a good enough representative of the New Mutants considering she's never had a figure.
 
Yeah, Magma was who I went with, and she definitely seems like the pick, especially since "powered up" she'd fit just as well with the more modern team represented by the Walgreens Dani Moonstar figure as she would the more classic team represented by the upcoming Magik (and presumably the rumoured upcoming Cannonball/Cypher figure(s)).

For Magma, I just used a little acetone to remove Dagger’s markings from her face, put the head on a Dani body, and gave her the movie Captain Marvel’s fire effects. I know it’s not the same as getting an official release, but it’s a nice placeholder.

Just throw me a bone here and gimme another AOA figure this year. Havok, Quicksilver, Abyss, Holocaust, Nightcrawler, Storm, whomever.
