Top Ten Talk & Campaigning (for Official Top 10 & Wishlist Threads)

I've gotta think through my list for sure. I know:

Emma Frost (Generation X)
Banshee (Generation X)
Synch
Skin

Are absolutely in.

Beast (Perez)

Is next, probably.

After that, I gotta look through my shelves.

The Valkyrie dilemma:
Keep in mind that if a character gets multiple votes in different categories, the category that gets the most votes is where all of these votes will go.
Case in point: traditionally M'Baku, Attuma and formerly Skurge always get multiple votes in both the standard size category and the BAF/Deluxe category. The votes are combined into the category that got the most votes. No votes lost.
As for where do Maximum votes go, same thing. Place the vote(s) where you think is best. The votes will follow the character.
The only exceptions are:
Boxsets. Boxsets are counted as a whole. The characters are not broken apart and placed into individual categories.
Comic is counted separately from Cinematic. These votes are not combined.

Thanks for the answers. The aggregate voting works nicely, though maybe I'll refine my question a bit: If I vote for Valkyrie and Aragorn as a Riders set, I'm confident V will land in the regular Top Ten. But whither Aragorn? Will he still be mentioned in the Oversize category?

I think Generation X is going to have a strong showing this year.

Also, I might have to bump somebody off my list for Kylun this year. Because 1) Excalibur is my favorite, and he's next in line now that Rachel has been made and 2) I just hate to see a grown man beg like this every year. Give the man what he wants!

If I could hand the Hasbro "Marvel Legends" team trading cards, it would be these:

Also, I'd love to pass along trading cards of The Mighty Thor, The Incredible Hulk, classic Doctor Doom, green-and-orange suit Doctor Octopus and Volcana to the Hasbro "Marvel Legends" team for the Retro "Marvel Legends Series Secret Wars" toyline too.

In regards to the Top 10 wish-list currently in progress, I'm betting Jack of Hearts, Valkyrie, Attuma, Swordsman, Hepzibah, Moonstone, classic Gene Colan Dracula, pink outfit Psylocke, Mantis and Volcana will all be passed along to the Hasbro team sooner than later, but that's just me. :)

If Valkyrie makes in into the Top 10 Standard Figures list, it will be as a stand-alone character. In the note section following her name it will list how many votes she got as a single character and how many Oversize votes she got with Aragorn.
If Valkyrie and Aragorn make the Top Oversize spot, Valkyrie won't be doubled up in the 10 Standard Figures list.

I am still campaigning for my favorite Betsy costume, her Disassemble one.

And my list once again is full on X-Ladies!

It struck me putting together my list and then looking at others' ...

Hasbro has done a really, really great job covering Spider-Man. Yeah, yeah, he's *the* most popular character in the universe, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth celebrating.

Spidey is my favorite Marvel character, and even I get like twenty or thirty characters down my personal "most wanted" list before I hit a Spider-Man character.

And even then, it's D-listers like Stegron and Rocket Racer, or redos like Kraven or Silver Sable.

That's all. I just like to celebrate the line's wins now and again, because I sometimes take for granted just how kickass of a toyline this is.

Not that I want to create more work for those donating their time to this exercise, but for characters who get multiple different looks requested it might be cool to put that on the back of the card like the old power grid from the trading cards. Only instead of being a measure of powers, it would be a percentage of the vote total.

I really like the idea of repurposing the power grids for this! I had also considered including other information like total votes received, etc. As of now, the cards aren't going to have unique backs - every card will just have the same checklist of all the winners on the back. If we ever delve into customized backs, this is the kind of neat idea I'd want to use.
