For me this one is just too busy. Or rather busy just to be busy. I think for me there's a distinction between the level of weird complexity I imagine Cthulhu should have conceptually and what he should have in a toy form, if that makes sense.Oh, I think complexity is great for Cthulhu. These things are supposed to be indescribable, I don't like a basic humanoid shape or texture in a lot of designs. Everything's in the execution.

It's really not a matter of how much detail. It's that I don't think this detail is readable. I compare to the stuff Sexy Ice is showing off at Wonderfest. That stuff is highly detailed, but it doesn't seem cluttered to me. I can tell what's going on from every angle of the figure. This feels like detail for detail's sake, which is a problem I've got with several Cthulhu figures.It does make sense, but I find it often differ from other toy collectors on this.
