So, to be sure I understand because it just all seems so very bold: Dark Crown Toys wants you to pay $200+ for a 1/12 figure (already crazy) but they split the figure's parts across 2 figures such that you're buying 70% of the same $200 figure ... twice?

Yeah, nah, you can **** right off. Looks nice though. Good job.

Croaking of Throg, I saw a promo for a 3P 1th-scale one about a month back that I'm gonna need. I assume 5ktoys would have it thru their Shop page but don'tsee him atm. Anybody know the Throg I mean and got a link or details?
 
Johnny Nostalgia said he received an email from Capcom for promoting unauthorized products in his xcoccan Chun-Li review. They asked him to remove or set video to private.

I'd remove the link to where I purchased it and leave the video up. You can't really expect consumers to police the product like that, we see it on a website for sale we buy it. Capcom should contact the retailer he got it from try their luck over there.

I don't see the harm in removing the link. As he pointed out, the link doesn't go to the actual figure because it's sold out. I guess he's trying to figure out a way to not completely concede to Capcom while also avoiding any action from YouTube. Sounds like he just received the email and the video was released back in November '25.

I wonder if any other content creators got a message from Capcom about it. I don't review that kind of stuff on our channel, but we're also so small that I don't think Capcom would ever find it lol

I don't know the ins and outs of the legality of course, but I would think it would work very similarly to videos about emulation - you can show it off, and you can even show how it works and how to set it up, but you can't share links to rom sites or directly tell someone where to go to get them. Unauthorized 3rd party (or KO's) would probably be the same in the eyes of YouTube I would assume, but his community manager should be able to help him out there.

What a strange thing, though. Especially after this much time. I kinda hope he just tells them to pound sand so the rest of us can see what happens on the follow-up lol Take one for the team, Johnny.

Yeah, Nintendo and Capcom and....everyone... Abuses the fuck out of copyright strikes. He has very little recourse if he likes monetization.

Even though he's in the right.

5K FINALLY put up their pre-order for the Nanmu upgraded release of the JP3 raptors. If any of you are even remotely interested, but haven't pulled the trigger on their dinos yet, I HIGHLY recommend it.
