Super 7 TMNT figures

I don't know guys, I think this line might be toast. $65 for a Raph variant, April, and Hun. $150 for a motorcycle? Also, notice how if you want sai that actually look good (and the spinning effect that should have come with the standard Raph) you have to get this Raphael figure?

They're also doing ReAction+ O-ring turtles and these look awful to me. I get it's a specific form factor, but the way they did the elbow pads looks ridiculous.

If April turns out fine I could see myself getting her, but only at a significant discount. There's no way I'm paying $65 for any Super7 figures.

That IS the April I need a figure of... but $65? Nah. Once she and Casey are on clearance I'll nab them and try to find some way to hunt down the bonus Casey head.

Same as you guys: I'll get April if she goes on clearance, but don't need the other three. Same with the current wave: at a discount or not at all.

Wasn't this the wave that was supposed to 'wow' us? I am distinctly, painfully, unwowed.

The "You'll never expect THIS!"character was probably meant to be Hun. But... I'm not particularly surprised to be getting a main villain who is the most important villain for the entire arc of one of the main characters. Does he think it's a surprise just because we haven't gotten him since the original 2003 toyline?

This made me laugh pretty hard. But like... yeah. Is that the thing we're supposed to be like 'OMG... HE DID IT?! THAT CRAZY SON OF A BITCH DID IT?!'

I literally do not care.

Or are we supposed to be shocked that he stuck an overpriced motorcycle into the wave instead of like... an action figure? Because that's actually stupid and a bad decision, if I'm being honest.

That's a fair point. If Super7 just released a wave of figures that made total sense and were priced in a way that didn't make them utter scabs, I think I'd have a coronary.

He must have been referring to something else. Either the ReAction+ figures or something they have yet to show because we had already seen the renders for this line last year, motorcycle included. Or he has a short memory. They basically only announced pricing today when it comes to Ultimates. I'd go back and listen to the interview to see exactly what he said, but I really don't want to. I've listened to it once already so I've already paid my dues to the Toy Collecting Community.
