Oh, for sure. Of course, given Super7 being... Super7.. I think NECA should just forget about it and make whatever they're allowed to make anyway. NECA's relationship with Super7 is basically worthless (S7 can't hurt NECA if they try). So, at this point, it has more value to NECA to be seen by the consumers as rescuing us from Super7's high prices and buffoonery.

I was going to say that, given NECA's track record with actor licenses, NECA is actually more likely to be able to negotiate with Viacom/Nick/Playmates to get back into making redos of vintage toys. That's where the real Super7 fanbase lives an what I'd argue most S7 collectors actually want right now.
 
I’m not the main audience for anything 2k3, but was anyone asking for biker Raph and his shell-cycle? I can think of quite a few characters higher up on the priority list even not being someone who watched much past the first season.

Genuinely, I do not believe Brian Flynn consults 'what the fans want' very much when deciding which action figures to make. Not saying he's unaware or doesn't care -at all-, but I don't actually think it's a driving factor. Which is fucking hilarious in a massively overpriced line that only exists because the fans want these particular characters so badly. Making stuff the fans don't actually want all that much, or at all, is certainly a choice.
 
Was there no super7 coverage at SDCC this weekend? I was counting on seeing more TMNT coverage

Super 7 doesn't really reveal new stuff at cons do they? Most of the time they just pop it on their socials. It seems like their con presence has always been them showing stuff they already released.
 
Pretty much. If they reveal something it’s usually something big like the Cat’s Lair or that G.I. Joe Mothership that didn’t fund. They also didn’t have a booth at the convention.
 
They also didn't have an actual booth of their own this year. They were just partnered with a couple companies for exclusives, and the store close to the con was decked out as Godzilla station, so no way to show off turtle stuff there.
 
I don’t think so, but he sat in on some Godzilla panel during the convention. I think KD gave a succinct rundown in the general Super7 thread saying it was a total waste of time.
 
Yeah, the one I watched was just a quick 6-7 minute video with Pixel Dan (on PD's channel) mostly talking about S7's SDCC exclusives this year and that was about it. Nothing of value unless you just really like staring at punchable faces for over 5 minutes at a time.
