That Bucky has the proportions of Disney's Ichabod Crane. Someone needs to put him out of his misery.

For the latest teases, I am of the mind that the most obvious explanation is often the correct one so we're getting an old style Cap for the 250th, a Mary Jane, and that rumored Christmas Spider-Man which I assume is just Spider-Man with a Santa hat. And the manhole cover is probably Mole Man.

It almost happened three years ago. The West Coast Avengers box set was originally going to be the Invaders, but the higher ups at Disney pulled the plug on it. I love the WCA so I was happy with that set, but the fact that we came so close to finally getting the Invaders still stings quite a bit.

So is this the year we FINALLY get a Jim Hammond Torch? I hope so. Maybe we'll see him and the rest of the Invaders in time for America's 250th birthday. 🙏

I appreciate your begging and sniveling on our collective behalf. :) I liked the West Coast Avengers box set. The irony is he made his modern day comeback as a West Coast Avenger. He would have made total sense being slotted into that set and they could have avoided their seeming concerns about him being a Golden Age character.


The downside is I think we only get Toro either with Jim Hammond or in an Invaders box set, so maybe it's for the best in the long run. Given the 250th Anniversary this year, it seems like the perfect time for a set that reflects the history of America. It could end up being the best thing about the anniversary. The corrupt, self-aggrandizing ways the current White House occupant is pursuing make a mockery of the occasion.

The Models cover item works as either a continuation of the comic book pack-in line or as an in-universe magazine that Spidey or MJ would have. It has been almost 10 years since the last comic based civilian Mary Jane figure.

Possible, but it could just be a coincidence that the logo for the USMNT is so similar to the old shield style.
 
Pretty sure this has been said before, but I think the present and mag cover are teases for the Xmas Spidey & MJ set that's been rumored for a while. Tribute to the old TB box set.
