Studio Series.

I opened up '86 Megatron and transformed him yesterday. I know people were complaining about it being complicated, but I don't know that it's that so much as it's just... a lot? That's maybe splitting hairs. The directions are sometimes hard to make out because it's so small with so many steps. All that said, I love him!

I figured this may be the case but I was hoping. Contacting Chinese sellers on Ebay is sometimes... taxing. I'll say taxing. Sometimes its fine. Sometimes they screw you over. Or don't know themselves. Was hoping someone may have some insight.

Does look a little tiny, especially compared to the masterpiece and the model kit that I have.

Still. He is the greatest Transformer of all time so he will be mine.

Edit: I think it might just be having the bare shoulders without the cannon throwing it off.
 
Of course I got the voyager class Soundwave a few months ago. Ah well.

I will say I don’t really love the transformed modes of the tapes in the this. Sort of prefer the voyager/siege ones
 
I wonder if they'll redo Shockwave like this. Did he even show up in the movie? I know Buzzsaw didn't. I can't really think of many others who deserve a redo like this. I know Cyclonus still hasn't been released as a SS figure, though the Kingdom version obviously is of the appropriate quality for it. I'm surprised they haven't repacked him by now. Seekers are obviously coming. Anyone else to be redone this way? Maybe Cliffjumper?
 
Prowl, which I would just rather have the original, translucent-windowed Earthrise mold, god fucking damn it.

I have the opaque-windowed "Death Scene" retool, but he was fucking alive for at least a couple lines of dialogue.

Walmart is listing Soundwave for $55, compared to 59.99 everywhere else. Good luck with that fulfillment tho.
 
Got my pol from BBTS today so I had enough to put together devastator.

He’s pretty nice but I’m kind of hoping for a really good upgrade kit from like dna or something to make him even better.

I realize that one of the hips on my long haul was completely seized up but I was able to get it unstuck. Part of the torso is painted and I’m guess the paint stuck.
