I got Megs, Scavenger, and TF One Starscream all moved up to Thursday from Amazon as well. When it rains it... acid rains? Trying for a TF pun.

Early 80s TV taught me not to wash your hair with rain water. The acid rain will turn your hair green.
Everything worked out in the end because the green hair made Kimberly even cooler.

Words can't express how surprised I am at my love for Long Haul's dumpy ass (pun intended). I normally don't like the blocky figures, but I get giddy whenever I look at this fella. Not going to bother with Devy configuration until I have the whole team.
I do the same thing for the combiners. Like I know they’re never coming out of that combiner mode once they’re combined so better leave them as figures for a while

Amazon should be getting me Megs and TF: One Starscream today. Scavenger was supposed to come today, now pushed back to Sunday. I kind of hope Mixmaster takes awhile so I can enjoy the anticipation a bit longer.
Received Megatron from Amazon just now. Excellent figure.
This is commander class engineering in a leader class package. I followed instructions first time around, converting him to tank mode. The shoulders are a bit tricky going back and forth from robot to alt to robot. Missed a step converting legs to treads, but caught it and it worked out. I'm surprised by how compact he becomes in alt mode! The one thing I don't love about the tank is that the turret isn't centered as it rotates. The pivot point is further back, so it looks like the turret becomes disconnected. Not a huge deal, especially considering the adherence to the animation sculpt.
Speaking of sculpt, he has a surprising amount of techy details sculpted into most surfaces. I thought they were avoiding that for these Studio Series figures. Again, not a big deal. My copy has a blue smudge in his abdominal plate, which I might just leave because as I've found in the past, the acetone I use for figures like ML really doesn't work well with the ABS plastic of TFs.
As far as accessories go, I like the sword, the Walther barrel, the scope/cannon. He comes with a small pistol that I think is supposed to look like his G1 alt mode, but they took liberties. I'm actually surprised he didn't come with the pistol he delivers the final blow to Optimus with.
I've gotta dig out Optimus, I think these two will be permanent desk fixtures. I'm not even going to integrate them into my actual collection, as I've never been dissatisfied with the WfC Earthrise versions. They scale better with the overall SS collection. SS Prime and Megatron are excellent standalone figures, but paired together, become epic.

Earthrise Optimus is definitely my default display version, but I like the other because I have an unhealthy problem with Optimuseseseses (Optimii?).
But 86 Megs is 100% replacing Earthrise (anyone wanna buy him? lol). And the fact that he's going to be so much bigger than Earthrise Optimus is just going to make it that much awesomer.
I just hope he still fits in the Starcream throne, because that's where ER Megs currently is, lol.

I really like that Megatron. I hope I manage to get one. I didn't preorder cause I wasn't sure id have the money, and I was right. So hopefully I can nab him in the future.
I really would've liked the Godzilla one too, but that shit is expensive.

Long Haul and Hook hit my doorstep. Mixmaster is due next week. So close.
I have to say I don't find these two as fun as the prior in robot or vehicle mode. But I do like Long Haul's transformation.

I like Hook a lot. All three modes are solid and clever. Long Haul is just so stocky. He’s built like a powerhouse, but that can be limiting.
Scavenger should be delivered today via Amazon. Was hoping to get Mixmaster before him just so I could get Devastator to stand. But I’m pretty sure I’ll be disappointed by Scavenger’s robot mode, so I hope to get that disappointment out of the way in anticipation of Mr Left Leg.
