Studio Series

I have the Dramatic Capture sets as well, so I already have some of these animated style repaints. Blitzwing I'd be buying just to keep part of the SS packaged collection.
 
I’m planning to stick with my Kingdom Blitzwing because I like the toy colors. I’ll probably bite on Astrotrain - though I wish/hope we get a toy colors version too.
 
Opened Astrotrain and I’ve got no beef with him. I dig all three modes. Yes there’s a bunch of kibble, but that’s harder to hide because he has two Earth alt modes that are very distinct. You can get away with parts from Cybertronian alt modes overlapping and looking conspicuous, but it’s harder when it’s choo choo wheels or wings or thrusters. He’s a bit thin, but I found converting him satisfying. All of the tabs fit together as intended. The plume of steam is good for only one thing, but that’s no big deal either. I’m good with SS Astrotrain.

Really going deep. At least he had dialogue. Hound and Sunstreaker might not have even moved, they were just still cels. Windcharger and Wheeljack were already corpses.
 
I needed to consult my Amazon order history in Burlington today. I couldn't remember which version of Galvatron I had. I have the Legacy version, Burlington had SS86 for $20. Seemed like a good deal, so I bought it. The barrel would've been a give away had I thought to look.
 
Received Skywarp from Amazon today. Not much to report. Looks good, didn’t even bother to transform him. He’s got a big grin, which contrasts nicely with my Thundercracker’s glum face. Looking forward to getting Starscream to complete this trio.
 
Iffy on Shockwave all together because he’s so short. He’s not an entirely new mold like Soundwave or the Seekers.
 
Looks like Starscream is indeed a Target exclusive. Rumor is it goes up tomorrow morning:

Damnit, I have a 9am Doctors appointment that I cancelled once already. Hopefully, they'll call me in late or I'll be sitting in the room waiting for the Dr to show up. "Before I step on the scale let me order this Transformer."

I'd ask someone to preorder for me, but I just know there have been times when it took me multiple tries to find something on Target.com. Even Pulse gives me a headache sometimes with the phone# field.
