kinda worried seeing R.Mika’s shadow… no Street Fighter toy line has made her and lived.

Granted, it’s not her fault, “Under New Management” Sota was a trash fire that had no idea what they were doing and Figuarts never finishes anything… and ReSaurus never made her and they died anyway too! But still get a little jumpy seeing her there…

Anyway, for $30 and not the $100+ of the Figuarts, I’ll still buy her even if she is an Angel of Death!
 
Figuarts never finishes anything, BUT also released more SF characters after her. Hell, they were coming out with Guile right when Jada started their line, which made Guile the first one I didn't get in Figuarts. And then Jada's ended up being in my top 10 figures of 2024, so no regerts passing on Bandai's. And still having their Mika, I can see if Storm's is gonna be as booby/bootylicious as Bandai's lol.

I get the plan, but I'm still not as excited about "redoing" characters Jada's already done or shown prototypes for (despite their first two looking to best Jada's - I haven't shipped Ken yet, and Ryu hasn't hit [I only got the $1 increase as well]) as I am about new characters like Charlie or Dan.

I really wanna know when we're gonna get:
Birdie
Adon
Rose
Sodom (who then makes me think of Darkstalkers' Bishamon!)
Gen
Rolento
Sakura (though Bandai's is pretty great)
Karin
Juni & Julia
Eagle
Yun Lee

And then speaking of Darkstalkers, when we're gonna get more characters from THERE beyond a better size for Morrigan, and essentially a repaint (though not really) Lilith...where's my Bishamon? Rikuo? Sasquatch? I'm "the werewolf guy" - when can I get a better Jon Talbain than ToyBiz's!? 😭 😭 😭 I know it's not as globally popular as Street Fighter, but they should be taking advantage of that - DS figures are few & far between, and mostly shitty. No one is competing for that.

Hsien-Ko and B.B. Hood are my most wanted Darkstalkers.
 
Got mine too, probably gonna wait for Monday before I ship though. Not like they’re gonna pack him up today and they don’t work the weekeends… maybe peruse the discount section, see if I want any last minute impulse buys before finally getting Ken and Ryu
 
Now I have to decide. Ship Ryu and Ken now, or wait a week or two more to see if the Monster Force guys and the Boss Fight blanks come in so I can just ship the lot of them...

Ah fuck it, I want some new toys this week.
 
Waiting to ship Ryu as he’s sitting alone in my POL. His angst is multiplying as I type.

In other Storm Arena news I think I’ve only played KoF two or three times back in the day but you bet your lumpy booties that I POed both Goro Daimon and Benimaru Nikaido.
 
C'mon, Storm.

SF has 4 characters up (one in hand, one getting into hands, two for preorder).
Baki The Grappler (it's the new series, yeah, yeah, it's Baki The Grappler to me lol) has 3 characters up for preorder.
King of Fighters now has 2 characters up for preorder.

We gonna get A preorder for any Darkstalkers any time soon, or what? Sigh...
 
Darksiders have been dead for 30 years outside of game collections and guest appearances. I'm sorry to say this but I'm not surprised that Storm aren't in a hurry to release figures.
 
We have, what, four Storm Arena prototypes without preorders so far? And two of them are Darkstalkers. It's a coinflip as to what gets a preorder announcement next. As always, I'm mostly just excited for Lilith... at this pace, I'd wager both go up for preorder in October, with better showfloor photos coming out at NYCC
 
I don't need much from a DS line if I'm honest. Morrigan, Lilith, Hsien Ko, maybe the Iron Maiden mascot looking guy? It's been so long I barely recall anyone that wasn't in MvC3.
