Yeah I tried a couple times and I just gave up because I don't even care about that move.

He exists to get bodied by Ryu anyway.
 
I watched D-Amazing do it in camera while trying to get it on myself and still had trouble. I'll get it on, snap one picture, and then never speak of it again.

So show exclusive orange Dan has the two heads you’d want a Dan figure to actually come with…

So is Storm going to do an accessory set for Big Bad at some point or anything? Maybe their own less appealing color variants? (I mean, I would have bought orange Dan for “the reference” and Hot Pink Ken was fun… but if I gotta get charcoal gi Dan and white Ken for the alt faces let it be so I guess…)

Just saying, hope Big Bad finds a way to get fans in North America the extra parts too
 
I could not give less of a toss about Dan having stupid face options but I do kinda want the orange variant for the possibility of picking up a Ryo head sculpt somewhere.

I agree they should do an accessory pack though for all the other characters effects (flaming hadokens, a kikoyuo, sonic boom et al).

See I’m hoping they remember they’re actually making KoF98 Arenas someday so I would put a “serious” Pink Dan face on the orange body and stick him next to Team Art of Fighting

The way they've handled heads and hands (and maybe FX?) so far kinda irks me and I'd rather just pay old Storm Prices for a feature complete representation rather than chase colour variants.

I'm sure they know that, though.
 
While I'm on that pulpit, I don't even see the savings of the vaunted, everything is $30 the same price as Jada and Hasbro.

Yeah, you can get them at BBTS for that price if you're lucky. I'm surprised how short those pre-orders windows are given they have the direct line. But I manage it.

But if you don't. That is not what I see them going for on aftermarket, at Toy shows, or online. Especially if any other color but default is involved. If there are other retailers that are letting them go for cheap, I would love to know them.

It just feels like a false point in their favor whenever Jada or other companies come up in the FGC/toy circles I'm in. They can say it's $30. Doesn't sound like most people, the people not me who know the toy game, are getting.
 
As much as some figures like Dan need an extra face or two, the poor availability is the only truly huge caveat for me. I'd happily pay $40-$50 for a more feature complete package off the jump, no more than that. Definitely not $80-$100 unless they're just that big of a character to me.
