I keep trying to get out of this line, but every new release I still want to own!

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Legend) just arrived and WOW - what a likeness.

This magnification makes his beard uneven, which it is a tiny bit, but only a tiny bit in actual size.

I think I keep buying TVC out of legacy but also because I love the diorama sets - almost all of which I have still in their boxes. The only ones I've opened the last couple years are the two Hallway sets, just to see how they worked. And the Bespin Chamber which is doubling as a Power Rangers Zordon platform currently. :) But these things are still so beautifully made. I have two Cantinas on order, one of each, which was admittedly stupid, but I just didn't want to miss out on something so cool. Even though I have two of Bib's Palace and never opened either!! Ugh.

How is everyone else feeling about TVC these days?

I really like TVC. But they are just priced too high for me. I only splurge on essential characters now. And even then it's rare.
I did preorder Ventress and Agent Kallus recently. But nothing else for quite awhile.

What is the standard retail on one these days?

I am not at all a Vintage figure collector, but the classic Kenner four-pack revealed today looked really fun - and I liked the packaging! How nice to include a "bonus" these days. The Bantha also looks really good, like a blow dry in the desert.

Yeah these really hit the nostalgia spot for me. Got all those at Sears when I was a kid. As always, price will be the main factor for me. Sadly the Bantha was just too much. Great looking set though.

Hello, Star Wars community! Man, seems like I haven't come to talk Star Wars in a while.

I was randomly checking BBTS just now and saw a new ANH Obi Wan up for preorder that I had no idea was coming. It looks really good and IMO is long overdue. I preordered that right up (and, like everything else, will temper my excitement knowing that I ultimately may not be able to afford it but will pray for the best like I do with literally everything else in my life these days).

I'm guessing this guy went up yesterday on May 4th but I was doing heavy adulting all day and was able to do nothing nerd related besides wear my R2D2 and C3PO t-shirt.

That's all, carry on.

I've been out on 3.75" "Star Wars" for a while (since I was in middle school, actually), but I'm totally back for the ANH leads. They're just too perfectly executed not to give a little shelf space to. It's my plan to pick up the original twelve characters from the Kenner line as they're rereleased.

My energy, money, and space for Star Wars outside of the OT is zero. But I'll always be up for some high quality, updated version of those original iconic characters.

Yeah I decided long ago I would focus on OT until present.
I'm saddened that quality 3.75" vehicles & playsets have gotten so expensive and scarce.
Then we have that new epic X-wing with some sort of weird action feature that X-Wings do not really have.

Last I checked it was $16.99 at places like Walmart, Target and Amazon. Pushing $20 at some etailers with the tariff baloney.
well soon to be $21-$22 and I am out
I'm not even sure I will buy any on clearance unless they go below their $16.99 price

DeepDiscount still has below MSRP pre-order prices - for now. I even "splurged" on the Landspeeder because why the heck not.
oh nice! I put 6 figures in my cart & qualify for free shipping too
I guess Lt Callahan is in stock which I wanted but found nowhere else
yet another problem ... poor distribution

I just got in the Howler with Sabine (w/appropriately sized helmet, yay!), Baylon, Shin, and Jedi Legend Obi-Wan. Good figures all around.

I love looking at peoples' collections, but TVC is a road I cannot risk going anywhere near. Even if they weren't way too expensive (they're uncomfortably close in price to Black Series here in Canada), I couldn't let myself start getting back into them. It's the world builder in me. TVC makes it far too easy to get vehicles, dioramas, etc. Last time I collected 4" Star Wars, I had like an entire Hoth battlefield that I had nowhere to actually leave displayed in my home.
