Star Wars TVC Discussion

TVC makes it far too easy to get vehicles, dioramas, etc. Last time I collected 4" Star Wars, I had like an entire Hoth battlefield that I had nowhere to actually leave displayed in my home.
Exactly. Exactly! Vehicles! Some of those vehicles are as iconic as the characters themselves. The X-Wing? The Falcon? Those babies have more personality than two OT background characters and five prequel main characters combined! You aren't going to see those in 6" scale. That's why I still love 3.75" for Star Wars and GI Joe. Come on. Clear off a shelf or two of homogeneous 6" action figures. Display an X-Wing! Build a carbon freeze chamber diorama. It's worth it :D

I received Hammerhead yesterday and started playing around with him, what a delightful figure. The deluxe tax is a pain, but all new sculpt, great paint, and bunch of accessories make it less so.

I still don't collect this line but fuck me sideways... a Snowtrooper 4-pack AND an all-new TIE Advanced? Goddamn it. They're making it really hard for me to be a 6" ONLY Star Wars guy.

Bossk's Bounty has started posting reviews for the new releases. I was skeptical that we needed a new landspeeder, but this really does look like a big improvement over the old one. And Luke looks better too, something with the eyes maybe?

Not really in the market for a land speeder, still rocking the one from the 90s, but this new one does look pretty. Maybe I'll cave.

Since I posted Bossk's video above I figure I should post some of the other YouTube channels I follow for TVC.

Tim from Bossk's Bounty does good reviews and seems to get things quite early. His Sunday Q&A is always fun. https://www.youtube.com/@BossksBounty

Brett on Fett has some good videos, especially from after he goes to cons like ICCC. https://www.youtube.com/@brettonfett

Jake Stevens from 4LOMtoZuckuss has been doing his Figure a Day series which is fun to review figures I haven't thought of in a while. https://www.youtube.com/@From4-LOMtoZuckuss

Mainly live streams with John Miko from the TVC Facebook group. https://www.youtube.com/@john_miko

Keith has an insane collection, cool to deep dive into the different lines. https://www.youtube.com/@keithguppy12345

Jason is currently redoing his collection room, fun to follow along. https://www.youtube.com/@kiwimanMAKMCSWF

Mike's collection room is another amazing one, love his dios. https://www.youtube.com/@MikeTarkin

ANOTHER amazing collection room. His OnlyOneFans is a fun series. https://www.youtube.com/@OnlyOneKenobi

SWTVC Intagram's Youtube channel for their podcasts/live streams. https://www.youtube.com/@SWTVC

Excellent in-depth reviews. https://www.youtube.com/@toyshelfreview

An amazing display, customs, and review from Toys are the Way. https://www.youtube.com/@ToysAreTheWay

Victoria's Cantina's Friday Social Hour is always a fun hang. https://www.youtube.com/@VictoriasCantina/featured

Whew, I didn't realize how many TVC channels I actually followed

Thanks for this. While I'm actively forcing myself not to get back into 4" Star Wars - I absolutely love looking at peoples' collections and reviews of them.

Got the Landspeeder in - it's tiny! Okay, it's not tiny - it's probably completely accurately sized, but after all of the playset boxes I was shocked at the size of this box.

I've never owned a landspeeder before and this one seems like it does the job. I thought it should have come with a stand, but the transparent wheels elevate it the proper amount. I'm hesitant to open Luke at this point, but he also looks great.

But definitely get this on a discount - $60 is absurd.

The new Force Spirits TVC pack looks great - and I like the way they are doing Anakin. That's tempting.

I'm not sure this deserves its own thread, but anyone who would buy a 3.75 Colonial Viper is probably here.

What a weird line to deal with as a kid. I had 3.75 BSG figures and little spaceships.

Yep me too!
I will totally try to get a Viper if it is close to a reasonable price.
