I never used mine as Chewie. He was always Snoova. He hung around with Boba Fett alot. He was Boba Fetts Chewie. And if they made a new one I'd do it all again, although, now Boba has a Chewie. So... Dins Chewie? No no. Bah I'll figure out who needs a good wookie sidekick.

Got The Stranger in my BBTS haul yesterday. He's a damn nice figure. Probably my favorite of they year so far.

If I hadn't gotten the Purge guy already, I would jump on that. The patrol trooper is probably my favorite Disney era trooper, so an excuse for a second one is fine. but I did get a Purge guy, so... nah.

Snoova is a bounty hunter. Dash is a mercenary and part of the rebel alliance. He also... died? At the end of Shadows of the Empire. But then somehow came back when Shadows Evolution came out, but only had a cameo. And I believe hooked up with Guri at the end of that. Since its all old canon, I'm sure it doesn't matter that much. But Snoova (in my headcanon) is stone cold like Bossk or Cad Bane. Dash follows rules and a code. I did have the idea, but I don't think Dash would let Snoova go as far as he wants. I just don't see them meshing well.

The new Sandtrooper has arrived in Canada. I had him pre-ordered at Amazon... but Amazon suddenly just didn't ship it, or have any information on when it would be shipped, or literally anything. It was just showing as a weird, dead order into nowhere. But at the same time, the figure I had pre-ordered that they were not shipping me was available with next day shipping.
Goddamn, Amazon is just a terrible company.
Anyway, I dumped my pre-order and just ordered the in stock one. He came today. He is ... a sandtrooper? Like, in the nicest way. I'm very glad to have him. He's exactly what I want him to be, minus the weapons*, but he's also just exactly what I expected him to be so there's nothing to get wowed over. Looks cool. Want another one with a dewback.


*Not a fan. Why does it seem like every fucking Stormtrooper in this line comes with a totally different E-11? Can we just agree on everyone getting the same mold, in the same color? This is fucking nonsense. I also don't love the long blaster, the designation of which I'm sure fucking Ru will tell me. As someone that no longer has any of the old Sandtroopers, I'm bummed by not having the weapons I actually remember them using. Not a big deal or anything, but just not a fan of the weapons.
 
I don't remember Sandtroopers, or any Stormtroopers for that matter, using a long rifle like this, with two ammo barrels on each side. It looks like a long, skinny cock and balls.

And the other orange guy behind him has the DLT-19, which is the second most common trooper weapon.
