Star Wars Black Series

For the record, I have two dirty Mandalorian Stormtroopers with Jedha gear, two dirty Mandalorian Stormtroopers with sand trooper gear, and four naked Jedha troops as regular stormtroopers. And four other Stormtroopers... I think one of the retro ones, I'm not sure. It's a compulsion.

Hey SC are the two the same as before and just on the new Clone body. I think I have two from the last time but just wanted to be sure.
Yep, they are the same as before, I believe accessories and all. But as you said they may be on the new clone body. But otherwise, all the same.

The Range Trooper is a teensy bit different- the ones from Solo had the big bulky grav boots, whereas these appear to just be normal boots. This one also comes with a rocket launcher, as opposed to the normal blaster from the Solo version. Also those little blast decos on the chest armor, which weren't on the original version.

Can't believe I'm slightly tempted by it just because of the boots and rocket launcher. :ROFLMAO: Gonna hold off, though- Target exclusives almost always go on sale.

UGH. I sold off my entire Black Series collection about a year ago. I wasn't really liking a lot of what was coming out, I hadn't been excited by what was coming out on Disney+ and with no movies for awhile I had lost interest and it was taking up space. After starting Andor season 2 and looking forward to Mandolorian and Grogu and Starfighter I am getting interested again! The upgrades on The New Hope figures, especially Han and Chewie, has me considering getting back into Black Series again. I don't need all the prequel trilogy stuff but anything new or upgraded from a New Hope onward could suck me in again.

How to save myself some money by accident - I was going to pick up the two new troopers last night but went to bed forgetting to click complete purchase and the range trooper is sold out now, and I didn't want the Jedha trooper enough to pay for shipping. If they both become available again at the same time later I might be tempted, but I can live without 'em for now. (Watching for the delivery truck for the new Andor like my dog waiting for me to drop cheese though.)

Already over in the Marvel thread but in case you missed it there, Hasbro and Star Wars renewed:

Cool! So, they did renew. I'm glad to hear it.

There is still so much I want in the Black Series. More Jedi and Sith, anyone who had a POTF2 figure, etc.

And while I had hoped Hasbro would renew with Disney for Marvel and Star Wars, I wasn't certain. So, it's nice to know.

I've actually started doing something similar recently. If it's something that I'm torn on- whether new or old, I'll add it to my cart or watchlist or whatever, and check back after ruminating for however long- couple hours, a day, etc.- and if it's still there, or if it sells out but pops back up again, then I figure I'm meant to have it. Hasn't saved me thaaat much money (I am, after all, a weak-willed nerd), but it's come in handy a few times, especially with some stuff on ebay and some Black Series army builders.

I agree Schizm. I always think that guy looks so much like Valorum. And I was thinking it all last night and wishing even more for a Black Series Valorum lol.

I thought the Andor episodes were great. It's very different in tone again, just like the first season. Whereas George Lucas definitely wrote and directed his Star Wars more like fairytales and fantasies with kids more in mind, Andor Season One and Two are much more serious, so well written, and with a more mature audience in mind.

Which is cool. Nobody said everything has to be handled the same in the franchise. It does feel weird watching it sometimes though. Sometimes Andor feels like a non-Star Wars product that just has Star Wars vehicles and troops in it. But so much of it feels VERY Star Wars and capitalizes so well on making you feel the hardships of war against such a near unbeatable, evil opponent.

These characters fighting, just hoping somewhere someday the galaxy will know peace, even if they aren't alive to see it.

Beautiful show.

Andor is totally how I tone and frame my Star Wars tabletop, so I feel so vindicated that the "take it serious political and espionage" stuff is executed well and respected.

If course, in my game one of the antagonists is a cyborg cat man, but... It is Star Wars.

The Anakin wave was in stock at Amazon, grabbed them all plus Luminara Unduli and Shaak Ti. Anakin won't ship until 8 May but the others ship Monday.

Nice! That's a good haul man.

I had noticed Shaak Ti and Luminara In Stock on Amazon earlier. Since I have them pre ordered on Pulse, I didn't get them from Amazon. But I am SO EXCITED for Shaak Ti and Luminara Unduli. It was hard to be patient. You'll have to let us know what you think of them when you get them in.
