Star Wars Black Series

I keep side-eyeing my Dash Rendar order from Pulse like. "come on. Do something."

Got a mystery box showing up by USPS today from Pulse and I'm HOPING it's the Temple Guard finally - really love what I've seen in the reviews and I'm a sucker for those rare generic SW figures who can have a bit of my own head-canon bolted onto them. (Pulse shipped three solo figures through three different carriers and I have no idea who's actually getting here today. It's like Christmas!)

I would have caved if I stumbled on that. As of now, I'm trying to limit any clones to those with high ranks/names. I got Galle and Cody, and Gree, though he's in the Clone Wars look from the 2pk with Yoda. I want to stick with just RotS versions. Who was Anakin's legion clone commander?
It was Appo for the siege of the Jedi Temple, as Rex was with Ahsoka. I also know Bow existed at some point too but I think he was short lived? Or maybe replaced Appo? Not sure about him.

Faced Jedi and lived is a strong statement. Got taken out by a blind guy with a stick while a Jedi was standing nearby is more like it.
That's it, I'm leaving.

Finally got the Temple Guard and man, they truly didn't have to go this hard. Just a beautiful figure with the whites, beiges, and golds, truly striking, and he has far better range of movement than a character with this design would have even a few years back - using the soft goods skirt with a soft plastic kama really really works. The double-bladed saber is sturdier than usual, too. My only wish is that he had better head movement (the head moves inside the hood a bit but not enough. If they'd gone with a cloth hood it wouldn't look this good though.

My head canon is this is the one temple guard who lived after the purge and now he's like an anti-Inquisitor, hunting for survivors and gathering old Jedi lore so it isn't forgotten. I kinda want to tie him to Baylan Skoll somehow. (Although with his design, he looks magnificent with the Acolyte characters, too.)

I don't remember the specifics but he and mandalorians had a cooler lore back in the old novels.
Yea they did. Boba himself survives the Sarlacc and went after like, everybody. Iirc, he stalked the solo kids for a while. And I think he went up against Luke a couple times. Not to mention just about everyone else in the galaxy. Say what you want about the old canon, but they did Boba Fett well. He was almost as badass as our own headcanons. I don't hate the new way they went with him. But its definitely not as good as the old canon BF. He was a scarred and dangerous man.

I think it was towards the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War where Boba showed up and actually teamed up with Han Solo (begrudgingly on Han's part), and of course betrayed him in the end.

Corran Horn is my #1 expanded universe figure want. I always liked him more than Kyle, which is probably sacrilegious in some circles.
