Star Wars Black Series

Man, I wish some of these figures like Bariss Offee and Dash Rendar would start shipping from Hasbro Pulse. Even the new Han hasn't shipped from Pulse yet. But Bariss and Dash are two of my most anticipated figures.
 
That's one of the reasons I stopped paying for Pulse. I just couldn't justify it anymore, especially when they were, ironically, often the last place to get in the figures. You'd think I'd have learned a lesson on patience, but alas, I was never a good learner. Too busy dreaming of toys.

Essentially she made a deal with the devil to come back to life, but couldn't have contact with Quinlan after.
 
Dash got pushed back for me from Pulse, but only til Oct. 1. Barriss is en route with the Ronin figure (I was like: why did I get a second version of him? But I realized he'll look much better in shots with OTHER SWBS figures if he's not in grayscale next to them, and he is a beautiful figure). No movement on Han though which is bugging me, and I'm really waiting for the temple guard to get moving too.
 
I got Dash Rendar yesterday. He has funky proportions. Like his torso should be bigger if it's got all that armor on it. His head looks too big for his torso as a result. His arms are also disproportionately beefy for his build. I think it's really just that torso that's too small, making the other things look big. His face got them beady eyes like Glen Powell. I'm pretty sure that's who they modeled this likeness after.
 
I wanted Xizor so much too. I don't know why, but I just loved his POTF Shadows of the Empire figure. It is still my hope that we get every character that had a POTF2 figure as a Black Series figure. And that includes the SotE and EU POTF figures.

It does look like my Barriss Offee is about to ship from Pulse. I love getting Jedi. Especially Prequel Jedi.

Cool. I liked that book (which was based on unused plans for the clone wars) and I'm glad they at least explained her survival in tales from the underworld after she just showed up in bad batch with little to no explanation. It's a bit of a cop out but hey the nightsisters whole thing was resurrection so it's fair enough I guess
 
Cons are really just another shot at a livestream it seems. The days of big announcements are over. Even SDCC was pretty anemic, especially around details.

Edit: Anemic apparently doesn't mean what I think it means. Sparse then maybe? Thin?

Second Edit: Ah, the secondary definition of anemic does fit. Carry on, nothing to see here.

I hate that the Palpatine Vs. Mace Office Dual set is an exclusive. It bummed me out back when they announced that. Because I really want two of them. Hopefully I can get one off of Pulse.
 
Kelnacca is just over $15 on Amazon. A Jedi Wookie for that price is something I couldn't pass up, regardless of what I thought of The Acolyte. Also got Jecki for the same price. I think she was the only other character I liked in the show. Ok, Qimir was kind of cool too.

My Walmart has him down to $6.00! I almost bought him but I haven't watched The Acolyte yet because of bad word of mouth and cliff hanger ending knowing it isn't coming back for season 2.

Yeah, I didn't like the show, but a Jedi Wookie... I can make my own lore with him. Screw the show.
