Star Wars Black Series

Nobody else try for the Mustafar set? Total cluster this morning. Thought it missed when the final screen wigged out but I got my order confirmation for it and the Savage land. Selling out in under a minute is just insane. Either bots are at work or they had tiny amounts available. Hopefully they do second runs of all of the con exclusives for everyone that stupidly decided to blink before ordering :cautious:

I got it but it isn't showing up in my order history, despite getting a confirmation email.

Last time they had a huge chaotic release like this it took an hour for my order to show up in my order history. I didn't try for mustafar cos my attention was on Marvel this time but got confirmation by email.

That makes me feel a bit better.

Edit: Just checked and it is there now along with Rogue/Shanna/Sauron.

It was crazy, my internet provider was down damn near statewide until like an hour ago. So, I completely missed all the SDCC stuff from Hasbro. It's ok I missed this one though, because I know they are letting out Kenobi and Anakin as individual releases. So, I will get those figures.

But the diorama pieces with this set are really cool.

Saw the ISB agent in Target tonight but I think my preordered one is arriving tomorrow-ish? refrained from buying a duplicate but if they go on sale I could see trying to figure out a head swap or two, looks great.

Unrelated, one of my canceled-but-shipped Walmart preorders showed up on my front porch at 9 p.m. on Sunday night. The "talks like a labor organizer" side of my brain HATES that they've got people running around in the dark dropping off packages at 9 p.m. on a Sunday. It can wait for normal human hours, my gawd

I’ve seen that ISB agent so many times, while for a week, tracking has listed my preorder as moving through Tacoma WA.

It tracks with message boards like this also slowing down on weekends vs weekdays. Guess people got more things going on than toy talk during the weekends.

Not this guy. I have no life. :)

*edit* Also, I was just in the GI Joe thread talking about animal figures and how well Hasbro is doing those. Umm, I would greatly appreciate them doing something cool in SW with the same basic designs. I would absolutely grab a Nexu, Reek, and Acklay from AotC. Not to mention they CW cartoon had just a butt ton of cool alien animals that would be affordable. They don't need to do anything Rancor sized, but some of the smaller animals would be hard to pass up.

As lackluster as the game was... I'd buy a set of Kay Vess and a really nicely articulated little Nix.

I'd also like to see the team go back and do an even better Tauntaun, and an Oopie at the same level would be great.

I JUST bought the game and while it's not my favorite SW game ever, I'd absolutely buy that as a set. I hope she gets a Gaming Greats figure some time. She's fun.

Oh I'd grab an Eopie. Didn't they make one for the Viintage line for blue-shirt Kenobi?

My white whale of an alien creature in Black Series remains an articulated Nexu though. I'd blow too much money on a three pack of monsters from the gladiator pit fight as dumb as that might sound. Although I'm betting a reek and acklay are just too big for this line.

Man, how big would a bee in black scale? Definitely bigger than the dewback, yeah? (Which remains the Hasbro top shelf effort at a mount across any line)
