Hard to say. There's a definite jankiness to the IG droids, just due to their skinny nature, but they do seem to be able to hit some action poses. We got that whole action sequence in season 1 where he was spinning around shooting everyone. Plus, this refurbished IG-11 is rebuilt from IG-12, who may have had a little more mobility worked in (been a while since I watched season 3; can't remember if he does any fighting or not).

Think this is one of those situations, at least for me, where I'll sacrifice a bit of accuracy if it means either more stability or better posing. That said, I'm not entirely sold on the figure just yet, given how little screen time he had. It was on screen for maybe, what, a minute or so? Depends if we see him again in anything.
 
Im definitely down for the new Snowtrooper. I think I bought like 10 of the first version! Not sure I really understand why they're including a head with the permanent flap when you get that exact same look with the other head & removable flap. Maybe Im missing something?

I'll pick up Embo & Armored Grugo to put in the Anzellans ship. and maybe the droid if he goes on sale, but I think that's going to be it for me.

The OT style head is the one with the swappable flaps. The M&G head is only that style. The flaps are slightly different, I think with one more wrinkled than the other. It's subtle.
 
Ahhhh ok, gotcha! So it's an extra flap basically. And there's difference that's actually super cool for army builders and would probably get me to buy two.... great. lol
 
There does seem to be a little confusion around how many options there are. Brandon said 3 in the stream, the other said 6- 2 helmets and 3 mouthpieces. But he may have misspoke; I'm more inclined to believe Brandon. Either way, like Ru said- the changes are subtle. Even if you can put one of the mouth flaps on the M&G Snowtrooper, the helmet styles are so similar that it's basically the same figure. I think the only difference, from what they said, is a slightly more flared helmet, if that.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the M&G helmet can swap out as it's more narrow than the OT style helmet, so the flaps likely wouldn't fit it. but here, go to exactly 25 minutes in:


but if that's the case, which yeah he indicates it is, then yeah.... you can get six from each figure.

Ahhhhh OK I didn’t get to watch the stream, now all the parts make more sense. I thought maybe one of the “bibs” was cloth. Well done to sculpt two different ones.
 
Good point about IG as his motion was rotate this or swing that. Didn’t display much more. But an action figure needs a bit more movement. You can still get the marionette movement and look but with extra points of articulation you can get him sitting on the speeder or helping balancing the figure when firing blaster in multiple directions.

Saw someone on Reddit say they found the Maul wave at Meijer, so decided to drive down to the one closest to me about 15 minutes away and sure enough, they had the whole wave. Only wanted the Brother. He's very cool. Kind of in the dumps today, so felt good to at least end my night on a high note.
 
The old one also doesn't like to stand. Even with a stand. The IG 12 mold can stand.

Nah. At least no more than a lot of other sith. Matches up with the new TPM Maul and ROTS Palpatine. A little more orange than 7th Sister (odd since she was so recent) but not as orange as 4th Sister.

Getting them all out and comparing them makes me realize just much variation all these guys have in their red sabers.
