Star Wars Black Series

Those guns for Dash aren't what he uses in the comics or game though. He uses the same type of blaster Han uses. In the game it can be modified to do some crazy things iirc, but its been a while since I played it. The guns on the old figure are definitely cooler, but not accurate.

Oh, I know. But I want the PotF version because that's the version I grew up with and it's what sits in my brain as 'Dash.'

You got me to pull Migs off the shelf to see what might have to go into modding his gun in Dash's. I forgot that Migs' backpack is less of a backpack and more of just a box that's attached to his back.

As someone else who grew up with POTF, I'm also usually attached to some non-canon weapon for a lot of guys. Dash's backpack gun, Admiral Ackbar's arm blaster, etc. Heck, part of my brain still thinks R5D4 should split in half and shoot out a missile.

I did buy a POTF Momaw Nadon after his BS figure came out to give him that weird blaster. Fits real well in his hand.

I love the POTF 2 line so much. It is my hope that every single character that had a POTF 2 figure gets made in Black Series. Be it they were single carded or in cinema scene packs or whatever.

Hasbro has definitely made way better looking and functioning 3.75" Star Wars figures, but still to this day POTF 2, POTJ, and the EP I figure toy lines are my favorite 3,75" Star Wars figures. Just the love and nostalgia I have for those toys is unreal.

Finally got around to opening the Jod Na Nawood I picked up to swap the head onto ML Yon Rogg. Went on easy, though the ML peg is a bit bigger than the SWBS socket, so I had to stretch it to get it on.

Now I have this nice looking body leftover with no head to swap onto it. Anyone have suggestions on what could fit/look cool? SWBS have very few figures that include an alternate head.

I also did the Kyle Katarn/Dash Rendar swap and it’s as if it was always meant to be like that. I have no investment in Kyle Katarn, so he got the pretty boy Dash head.

If I do end up getting a couple you'll be the first to know.

Been watching some reviews for the Maul: Shadow Lord wave, and I'm extra excited to get the wave in-hand. They all look really nice, the Crow/Eleventh Brother especially. Don't know what it is about him, but I really dig the design, and from the look of things- sculpt, soft goods, etc., they nailed the translation into plastic. I'm sure not everyone will like the hood, but I think it's cool.

Haven't started the series yet; I gotta re-subscribe to D+, and I'm in no real rush to do so. 😅

I'm excited about the Maul Wave too. All 4 figures look like a lot of fun. I just started the show tonight, and the first two episodes that are up were really enjoyable. I'm already wanting more episodes. Had it all been up tonight, I would have binge watched it all, because I was really into it.

I know what happens to Maul in Rebels but I just started watching S2 of Rebels. Where does this show slot in?

Obi Wan kills Maul 2BBY. That gives this show a lot of time to take place. We haven't seen any sort of Stormtrooper yet. Once we do, that'll give us a little more refrence.

According to a couple places online, MSL takes place in 18 BBY. Of course, Disney and Lucasfilm can change their mind on that at any moment, so take it with a grain of salt, but that's apparently the answer.
