Star Wars Black Series

I really thought 11th brother would he hard to pass on, but I'm not a fan of the all in one piece head. I've already got a version of that Maul so I'm ok there. The other characters look good, but I think I can pass on them too. Not a bad wave by any stretch, but one I'm happy I won't be tempted by.

As an aside, I got in the new-body stormtrooper from Mandalorian (I know they've been using this buck for a while, I'm just now getting to it). Dang. Really stellar stormtrooper. Really feels like he stepped off the screen. Well done, Black Series.

It's video game logic- where does your character keep all those guns and healing items, since we can't see it on them? They just keep it in a separate case until they need it, or it's in some invisible box in their back that they pull out when you push a button. Or maybe it's up their butt- the one place they can't miss.

Regarding the Maul figs, I know I should probably at least wait until the show to see if I connect with any of them. But I gotta be honest with myself- Rook and The Crow look so freakin' cool. I love the Inquisitors, and I, like many, have a soft spot for any Mandalorian. I liked her well enough in Clone Wars (I initially thought she was from Rebels, but I got her confused with Ursa Wren), and she just has such a cool design. The only one out of the 3 I may wait on is Devon, just to see what kind of a character she is, but I know I'm probably gonna grab her eventually anyway.

Aren't they missing them in Mando, though? I remember the Remnant troopers being holster-less. Or am I misremembering? I know the point is to cross-display them wherever, but still- are they accurate to Mando troopers, just not OT troopers? Or are they just inaccurate across the board? I tend to only notice the bigger armor differences when it comes to troopers.

I... think you're right about the Remnant guys. At least outside of when they had the massive gathering of 501st guys. but yeah, I'd rather have the better shaped helmet with no holster flanking Vader at this point.

That's probably what I'd prefer too. Your display may vary, of course, but I don't think I have a single trooper that isn't holding a weapon of some sort (usually their default), so I don't really need the holster, personally.

I pose all my Star Wars people like they're getting a promotional photo taken, likely to be used in a visual dictionary.
That's a fun idea! Once I got over the vanilla posing I did for ages, I've been going for more character-appropriate action poses. But I had the benefit of having just offloaded a bunch of figures, so there was more room. As more get added and the room lessens, I may take that approach to things- character-appropriate vanilla-ish poses. Just wish we got more types of hands to spice up the display- Force using ones, different types of hands for troopers, etc. I know customizers make them and sell them, but they can be pricey.

I would also do that if I had more shelf room, and did for a bit actually, then yeah... more figures means less dynamic posing heh.

Short (and a little messy) little Hasbro stream showing off the Maul figures, for anyone interested. Nice to see them in person- they do look good, admittedly. Nice to have confirmation on the swappable helmet for Rook. She and Eleventh Brother are definite pick-ups for me.

Definitely in for these - but really only pre-order the Sith dudes and troopers so I'm locked in for 11th brother and Maul - will grab the others later down the line.

Anyone else tired to death of seeing this message? Is my brain exaggerating, or has it been at least over a year now? Man if I let an error like that go for this long at my job, I would have been fired long ago!

I cannot understand how Hasbro has not addressed this issue - with all the people they laid off and scrounging for money, to have your storefront BROKEN for over a year is incredible.

Video: With the British accent I kept hearing "More" in March and that made me smile.

These figures look good - I thought those were Endor Leia's legs on Devon, especially when you can see the belt riding up exposing the waist joint. But I do agree on Eleventh's mask being part of the hood - I get what they were going for but I think it needs more depth between the mask and the interior, so it appears to be hanging in that space more?

Good job on keeping a lid on these until just before release.
