Star Trek

I measured a couple of AA//DST Kirks.

TOS Kirk is 6 15/16"
TWOK Kirk is 7 1/16"

So, if Nacelle Kirk is 6.5", then yeah, it doesn't scale. However, I was able to make Kirk look well above or below 7" against the ruler by just shifting the camera angle, so I'm not really convinced one way or the other at this point. I agree with @fac, we aren't really going to know until someone can compare them side by side.

I had forgotten those Kirks were a full 7" height, which is right in line with a 1:10 scale - in my head they were closer to 6" to 6 1/4".

The later TNG and DS9 figures must be closer to a 1:9 scale then - those definitely ran bigger.

We will know soonish...

Yeah, seems obvious the trio of non-SF figures are dead, Jim.

From BBTS:
Great news! Our shipment for the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Exquisite Mini Series Christopher Pike 1/18 Scale PX Previews Exclusive Action Figure (Standard Grade) is now packed up, loaded into a container, and cruising across the ocean toward our warehouse in Wisconsin.

Estimated Time of Arrival: December 19, 2025

That's so shitty. First of all, to delay them as much and as long as they have and then not even announce that you cancelled them is not cool at all.

Hopefully Nacelle can expand their license and get to Kelvin, because...frankly...it's a comfort watch of mine. I know that's a controversially held opinion, but I'm a big fan. And I have no doubt that they'd give us Uhura.

I hope so to. I am a die hard original series fan and I loved the Abrams reboot movies. I thought all the characteristics of the TOS characters were there and was looking forward to seeing them evolve into who they were in TOS over many, many movies. Sad that we only got to see 3 of them.

Digging deeper into my BBTS preorders, I see I ordered Nero Sept 2023 while Pike was ordered Nov 2024. Yeah, I wish Hiya had the integrity to tell us when stuff is cancelled instead of tickling our balls with fruitless hope.

Definite bummer. But I also know as soon as I sell the ones I have, they'll somehow announce that they're magically on the way!

Would love to see Nacelle take stab too; I'm sure the rights for some of those bigger actors are much more than almost any of their announced figures so far, but still. I agree that the Kelvin timeline is an odd comfort watch for me, and I've been wanting good figures from it for as long as they've been out. Seemed like this was our shot, but alas....
