People who think that Winter Flint will definitely be released even if he's not unlocked might be in for a rude awakening.

I went through this exact conversation in the Mattel Snake Lair conversation. Something that misses funding on a project that goes forward isn't going to be released or else there would be less incentive for future 'unlockables'.

Its different than the Engine of Vengeance scenario because that didn't fund and Hasbro hasn't done another Marvel Haslab with unlockable figure tiers since.

If they want people to pledge based on FOMO they cant let them have certainty that the thing they didnt unlock will come to them anyway.

Well as I had hoped Lady Jaye is unlocked by the final day update. The Bivouac should unlock later today and I think Flint is doable as well. We should see at least 2,000 backers added today, but I suspect more.
 
It's at 10,344 now. I procrastinated enough and just +1'ed it.

I think we need a video from Emily. Let the Hasbro writers run with this scenario. Darkened room. Single lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. Lenny tied to a chair. Emily wearing a Cobra Commander hood.
 
I am starting to get antsy to see the numbers rise today. I have to remind myself that not everyone lives in my time zone and gets to work before 7am. Based on the last few days it seems like the numbers always pick up in the evening.

I'm at the point where I'm refreshing the page too much. I saw it go to 10,601, then 10,599, back up to 10,601, another dip to 10,599. It's finally appears to be past the 10,600 mark.
 
I'm doing the same thing. Saw it drop by 15 then jump back up 17 in the same 30 second period and didn't like that cognitive dissonance at all.
 
I've never followed the final day this closely. Do we usually see that big a jump in the final 12 hours? (I say this as I am, currently, one of the lunatics who will drop my support in around lunchtime today)
 
There is usually a big jump, but this has not gone like a typical Joe Haslab so it's hard to say what will happen. I still expect some kind of jump but with 11 hours to go, I'm feeling less optimistic about Flint seeing it's still quite a bit off from tier 2.

It's almost always a reverse S curve thingie, where the last day tends to mirror the first day.
 
I don't know about this time, though. We've only seen about 500 backers in 9 hours since Canprime's report. I think I'm reading GeekDadLife's chart right and it picked up a bit more than 5,000 backers in first day. 4,500 backers in a bit less than 10 hours seems a tall order. Right now, it feels like we won't see half that number.

I hope I'm wrong. It's really gonna suck not getting Flint.
