It seems like if they really wanted to skimp, they could even use some limbs from Warbow here. These HAVE to be reused for Martinex at some point. They're too perfect for him. I'm sure the ideal Iceman for most of us would be a touch slimmer with butterflies for posing, but they'd have to make a new torso anyway. At this point with the number of "close enough" Icemen that we've gotten, a dedicated new sculpt version feels owed.

Dropped off from Pulse today. The only figure I preordered from the wave. Had to make sure I grabbed one before SDC gobbled them all up.

I don't know a terrible amount about Crystar, but I love modern updates on classic toy lines and this is a real fun addition. They even have their own little spot on my greater MOTU shelf which is mostly MOTU Classics, Thundercats, and a small handful of Mythic Legions. I'd love if they at least got to Moltar, Ogeode, and Zardeth.

I'm debating on what I want to do about Executioner. He's been a top want for me for so long, but dropping 2025 money on three figures I don't want to complete him doesn't sound very enticing, especially since he's more modern than I'd care for. I can almost guarantee that Hasbro does a singles release of him in a few years with the classic brown tunic instead of black. But is it worth it to hold out that long?...

i was a bit concerned that Warbow’s sash wasnt much darker than his body in early pics. but he looks good in the pic above.

regarding a potential Skurge rerelease down the road. count me in as wanting him with some brown for contrast. But I’m not sure when he’ll get a rerelease. could be years. is it worth that gamble?

WBN poses nicely though the pins in his arms are definitely lame and his shoulders feel like they might break if moved too hard. But - his pants are NOT MCU Logan's. I think these are new.

I have a few WWBNs now (what?!! He’s a favorite character!! I need extras for like my desk at work and such!!) and a little shock oil dripped into the shoulder hinge works wonders with freeing up the joints.

You'll be able to resell it even with a reissue if you prefer the other color. Maybe you take a loss, but at least you had something that brought you joy.

Just do it if you can afford it.

I visited Wiki to see who actually designed Simon's FA costume. While I was there, I saw this:

I said okay, I'll discontinue Wonder Man. And all of a sudden they've got Power Girl [after Marvel had introduced Power Man]. Oh, boy. How unfair."

I got a chuckle out of that. Comics. What a business.
