I think they may be trying to manage traffic on their servers. Seems like the revamp from last year is an utter failure, and they just can’t handle the volume. Yakface posted that 300 of the Star Wars sets were up this time around, and that seems too precise to be random cancellations.
 
Lol. I love that line, cause then they spend the rest of the movie just, missing, every shot. Its almost like he was being sarcastic.

I agree if they did make that many available.

I wonder how Yakface knows how many were posted? Pulse's web site used to show total inventory for a few years in the source of web pages back when they used Shopify, but this new site isn't build on that platform. Maybe it also shows inventory in the source...I'll start taking a look.

I was actually up at 3:15-3:25am PST and kept checking the website - of course, no restock like the previous two nights. Instead, they restocked at a waking hour that I slept through because I was up in the middle of the night!!!
 
I could have bought each of these sets five times thanks to the Preternia notifications. Every time I got a notification, I checked Pulse just to see, and yes, the set was in stock or the preorder button was live.

I woke up at 5:30 am and dozed on again off again till 9:30. Apparently it was listed for 4 min in that time frame at some point. Stupid me not being alert on 5 hours sleep. Hasbro is right. I'm not committed to the hobby. Only bought a few new cars worth of product from them over the years.

so how does this preternia thing work. I followed them on Insta. Then what?

I follow on Bluesky and there you can turn on notifications for just them so I'm not getting dinged constantly.
 
I never do push notifications on these things so it isn't 2nd nature to me. Figured it out on Insta but not Bluesky. I'm old I guess. Actually I don't use socials that much is more the issue. All the "destroying human civilization" angle and all.

I've been on Bluesky since launch and never knew you could do individual pings like that. I really hope they don't sell out, they're really the only moderately humane platform at the moment.

Definitely some "fancy box" tax on that one. $110 would have been more reasonable. $25 each and $35 for Ripper. Although it seems more like Savage Land is a good price than Cold Slither is a bad price.
