Honestly, I saw that blue Pre-Order button for the first time after nearly two days (off and on) of refreshing the page and was just trying to GTFO with an order before they went out of stock again. Like Rod, I didn’t think about ordering a second set until my first order went through, and by then, they were already out of stock again. Had I pulled up the page even two to three minutes later this morning, I would have probably missed out.
I’m wondering if stock is updated in the early morning hours and if there will be more available tomorrow around 6:00 AM EDT. Maybe they’re manually checking the orders and cancelling anything with more than two units going to the same shipping address? Maybe the stock that was left over from SDCC was shipped back to the warehouse in multiple boxes and is being received in sporadically? Who knows. Whatever the case may be, saying this was poorly handled is an understatement, and while I wouldn’t say someone deserves to get fired over it, they certainly deserve to get their ass(es) chewed out. Times being what they are though, they’ll probably get an employee recognition award just for for getting orders out.
