SDCC Exclusive Savage Land 3 pack (Rogue, Sauron, Shanna)

I know it's impossible, but I wish there was a way to prevent the direct to aftermarket thing, people intentionally buying to re-sell, but f*ck, that's a question of "how do you prevent human behavior." We can't even get food into the hands of people who need it from people who hoard it, there's not a chance in hell to find equality in like, action figure distribution.
 
Hasbro doesn't care. All they see is units sold "we make money, figures do good."

The last ML con set I bought was the Hellfire set. I bought one from Taiwan and another from the made to order sale and waited until around Spring. I have no problem going back to that method, especially when the website obviously can't handle the pressure. It took 30 minutes for me to access the order history.

I think one per customer is really the only thing they can do to help with that aside from making enough inventory, which is always a bit of a gamble with con exclusives. You don’t want to make too many of those and you don’t typically get the benefit of preordering to gauge that demand ahead of time.
 
Yeah. Didn't they have a model where you could also preorder a set after it sold out and had to wait 6 mos or so to get that 2nd round? What happened to that model? Was a great compromise.

Fuck Hasbro today. In 23 years of collecting this shit, today is one of the biggest let downs.
 
Yeah, making them available for preorder is a great compromise. The con exclusivity is you get them first, but everyone else still gets a crack at them.
 
Ooooohhh I hope Dan's social media is blowing up right now! Not attacks on him, but so he can hopefully do something about it.

This is insane. I wanted to give Hasbro $290 today and they just said "fuck you!"
