Hobby-Genki says 4pm GMT+ 9 July 25. I think it’s almost 7 AM currently so he’ll be up in the very early morning if you’re on the east coast USA.

Yeah I heard that news from DMB earlier today. Super exciting stuff. Hopefully Peter and Ben are super compatible when displayed together. Ordinarily I would assume they are since they are both SHF but thanks to all the recent scaling kerfuffles that have occurred with the ATSV line I’m not sure that’s the case anymore

Scarlet Spider is up on Hobby-Genki. Ended up costing me &102 with FedEx shipping. You can get it down a bit more with some of the other options.
 
I had an account at Hobby-Genki, but that was my first order. Are Tamashii Web Ltd not available at Amiami and HLJ? I used to preorder Star Wars prequel figures from a different store because HLJ/Amiami didn't carry them. I'm blanking on the name of that store. They eventually closed down and left with the money. They required payment up front on the exclusives, luckily I had no open orders with them at the time.
I have no attachment to Scarlet Spider, but he looks too cool to pass up.

Ordered. I ended buying a pair of these since it’s a limited Tamashii Web exclusive and god knows if this will actually wind up on American shores now that Diamond is no longer around. It also says it’s supposed to ship in December.

Now please permit me a little bit of naivety, as it’s been awhile since I ordered a Bandai figure under these conditions; but does Tamashii still offer those early bird specials? I remember they used to have this policy (again this was about a decade ago) where they would drop figures about a day or so ahead of the scheduled pre order window for a very limited time. Maybe it would last like an hour or so. Then come two or three days later there would be a wider release and not only would more stores get these figures, but if you ordered early you would get your figure 1-3 months ahead of everyone else. Is that still a thing?

I was able to sneak in an order at Hobby-Genki at ~12:20 a.m. PT. Did I get lucky? Looking at Misfit's post above and Preternia's Bluesky post, it seems like Scarlet Spider didn't go live until later.

This is actually the second time that this figure went up for order this week. I just saw a Reddit post that said they went up late Wednesday/early Thursday around midnight for about an hour. No one has received a cancellation notice from what I’ve read so I think any orders that were placed that time are considered valid, even if it was a glitch.

Still it makes me wonder if that was that early bird special that I was referring to earlier…

I woke up to an email notification at 3:20 AM EST that he was live. I probably stopped checking at 3:15, but the listing was still live when I got up at 6.

I want to say it ended by about 9:30. Because I was able to follow it for a few hours after I woke up and was surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I don’t know why it took me this long but for whatever reason, I can’t help but recall this one time prototype of the Spider-Man classics Scarlet Spider figure. Not sure if the correlation is due to the fact that because the characters are the same or because there is some correlation between the color palates used in the background but the parallel’s of these two are hitting pretty hard. Almost a “How it started/How it’s going” kind of vibe.
