Six-year-old me hated Batman Beyond. Who is this sniveling punk? And Bruce Wayne is old now? Fuck that noise.

Dunno why you'd want one, then, but yes, Batman Beyond the show and the "finale" in JLU would be your justifiers.

Comic was also pretty good.
 
Does the show still hold up? I really enjoyed it as a teenager when it originally aired but haven't watched it since. I still rewatch BTAS pretty regularly but haven't gone back to Batman Beyond yet.

I rewatched it with my kids. They enjoyed it and it held up for me.

It does. Takes a bit to get running, for me, but the highs outweigh the lows. I think it aged well, especially because I wasn't trying to figure out how to watch it as a high schooler with a schedule and could just watch it at my leisure.

At its core, it's Spider-Man. Show and comic run. It's like that Calvin and Hobbes strip where he doesn't want to eat cheeseburger casserole.

I was surprised to hear the price is $80 on BBTS because I kind of want Harley, but didn't really want to go over the $100 it would take to buy from BBTS or Japan with shipping. Don't you love it when $80 seems reasonable?

Oh, yeah, then there's the $150 Cable on BBTS.
