Yet, you have to say things like 'despite what others say.' It's a direct challenge. Basically saying I'm not telling the truth - or some variant thereof. You can't start it and then say 'but I don't want anyone else to respond.' And I'm so sick of the 'they can't talk about it' excuse. Like we're all supposed to just go 'oh, okay - they can steal and lie, but as long as they say they can't talk about the details then I guess it's okay.'
You can talk about loving the figures all you want. But if you're gonna show up and say I'm being dishonest in how I portray them, I'm gonna respond. That respect goes both ways.
See, and that's the issue. You don't have all of the facts. You just don't. You think you do. You have public opinion, you have surface level, unreliable testimonials, you have that bullshit report from that "reporter". All circumstantial shit that can be framed to make them look like crooks and not victims, themselves. You act like they are the devil incarnate, and it is just not the case. And if anything, you can maybe tag them for getting into bed with the wrong people who take advantage of them. For not being better businessmen, perhaps.
They are good people, trying to just make a living, and the intention has never not once been to rip anyone off. They were making millions off of their store. Ask yourself WHY they would just piss that away, and think logically on that.
Do you know how many of these cocksuckers out there have claimed to not gotten their money back from them, and I've seen receipts where it proves that they HAVE? People dogpile and you fucking know that. And you've fed into it.
You may be sick of hearing about it, but be sick of it, I guess. Those are the facts. At their lawyer's behest, they are legally and contractually not able to talk about it. You want them to break that just so you can be satisfied with their reasoning? They put out a press release between themselves and Entertainment Earth and that was the extent of what they could do.
The issue is that no matter what they do, it will never be good enough for you, short of groveling at your feet and begging for your satisfactory level of forgiveness. And that's just never going to happen.
This is all shit that other companies have gone through. It just doesn't pile up like this has. How many times has NECA fucked up, sent wrong items, not fulfilled orders, not made customers whole? And yet I don't see you calling anyone there pieces of shit.
The difference in respect here is I've mentioned that these are my friends. I have asked you numerous times to stop dissing them in my presence. You don't fucking care. But you God damn well know if the shoe were on the other foot-- where I would have this opinion of YOUR good friends, and I ripped on them, called them everything but their God given names, you would lose your shit. Don't kid yourself otherwise.
