Premium DNA Rocket Knight

Curious what the scale is on him. Based on my talk with them at Power Con, they're seemingly aware that mixing with the likes of Jakks Mario and Sonic stuff is the goal of a lot of collectors, but then we got that giant Banjo.

I was a Nintendo kid, so not incredibly familiar with the game, but looks like a fun little figure and would make for a fun classic addition to the shelf.

Curious if the Konami connection is a clue to some of what they might have cooking. Because Bomberman or dare I hope even Castlevania would be nuts.

They are no longer planning to do preorders, rather shorter release date windows. Working on multiple things, and then putting them out when they're ready to ship.

I did love that game on the Genesis as a kid, though it was hard as hell. I'm skeptical that design can translate into a fun figure. What an odd license to acquire.

Probably because it was cheap and there was no overwhelming demand for it?

I have no memory of the game, and I had a Genesis. The figure looks interesting.

I won't say anything else about the company.

I have no interest in Rocket Knight. Don't even remember the game. So at least I won't have a moral quandary about buying it.

You'd actually be surprised at the amount of people I have seen across various social media thst have said that they want Rocket Knight. I think it will do well enough for them.

I actually really love Rocket Knight. It was -one of- my first Genesis games, as I recall. Very strong nostalgia for this.

But it's being made by thieves and liars, so..... until they admit they were liars and start paying reparations to all the people they stole from, they can continue to suck every dick on the planet.

There's more info on their site.

- 4.5" 1/12 scale
- the metallic version is a "battle damaged" version that's limited to 500 pieces.
- $65 for the normal figure, $75 for battle damaged

I generally hate cel shaded figures, so I was curious what the metallic one would be. Will still be going after that one. Hoping that with the price and general obscurity of Rocket Knight, it'll be obtainable.
