Playmates Vintage Rereleases

The Foot cruiser popped back up for preorder on Amazon the other night and I snagged an order for one. I LOVED that car as a kid, so getting one to pair with the NECA turtle van in an eventual (I hope) permanent display was a no brainer.

That’s good to see. Dan was on Toy Anxiety last week and said he felt he was about halfway to the order totals that he needs to go into production. He’s been popping up everywhere to plug the thing.
 
I wonder if it might be one of those deals where BBTS ordered some and they'll offer them once the deadline for Dan's direct sales ends?
 
I ordered direct. Gonna love thumbing through that book.
 
I'm still thinking about it. I like those kinds of books too, but there are a lot of costs piling up right now. Still, I've been working a bunch of overtime...
 
That sounds like a future Cmoney problem if you ask me. Preorders and exclusives have wrecked me so bad this past month that I convinced the president of my company that we needed to have an annual meeting and that I should be included even though I am the only current home office employee that works remotely. I only did that because it means I have to drive 550 miles (and 550 back!) and will get a fat mileage check. Sure I have to suffer through 2 days of driving and a day of a boring meeting but that money will fund so many figures 😂
 
Between Chinese third party/originals and EE/BBTS taking forever to get stuff I ordered months and months ago, I feel like I'm gonna get punched in the wallet real damned hard any day now.

That is what I want Playmates to release most of all. That big Krang Android body. One of the few things from the vintage collection that I don't have that I really want.

I've almost bought a vintage one a few times, but it was always a matter of the stickers. I thought of buying a Mint in Box Krang Android, but I just never have, and now I don't want to because of the hope Playmates will re release it.

I was having issues with the Power Con site yesterday, but I was able to get an order in today.
