Playmates TMNT x G.I. Joe

I feel like this is where we should be talking about these. They're much more TMNT in spirit than they are GI Joe.

These are very fun. I'm definitely in for Leo and Mikey and at that point, I might as well get the other two Turtles... and then at that point why not just finish off the entire set because Slash looks awesome as well.
 
These look fine, but I just have no interest in the concept. Maybe I could find a spot for that Storm Shadow Slash if I see him on clearance (and it actually turns out as well as the promo shot), but I'm good on the rest.

im liking snake eyes turt. and Commander Shreds. those dreadnocks look good too though
 
I mean, these look cool but I hope these aren’t the only Toy Fair reveals that are ‘87-ish.

Probably not what you mean, but I'd expect at least one more wave of the Godzilla crossovers, and there were Power Ranger crossovers that "leaked" a while back as well.
 
these are what more Godzilla/TMNT designs could be in store for wave 2 and beyond (should they make more)

I’m not a GI Joe guy so these don’t immediately spark any connection to me other than “oh! The Turts are in funny costumes!”

If I got any of these it’s gonna be Krang as Destro, it’s a cool look for the Android body, just another cool Krang to go with the Krang…

If these are $10 like the current Playmates Turts I could see getting Slash, the white and bright teal really pop, he’s very striking.

Shipwreck is my favorite Joe, because my brain just replaces him with Shore Leave from Venture Bros, so Mikey is fun. I like he has his pigeon and the anchor tattoo is a grappling hook, that’s some good details.

The rest look nice, but I don’t got a connection to them.

The go kart’s super fun, it looks like an 80’s Turts vehicle and something I wish the newer Turt series included, they get like military vans and racer bikers that could work in any toy lone… where’s the fun of a giant go cart with a mouth?!
