Operation Monster Force

Got my first figure in this line with Halloween Boy. Damn fine figure, even if I don't know the character at all. Tried to find an online read to no avail, but I did find some page art and I'm not inclined to get any books based off it. But again, the figure is actually kind of striking in its design. My one gripe is his grip hand is a bit to open to hold the sword snugly.

Same. Just cracked open Halloween Boy a little bit ago. Totally dig it. Some months ago I found online one issue of his, I cant remember where. It's hard to get into, but thats kinda on purpose from what I gather. Each issue is a separate stand alone story, and only bits and pieces of his background are sprinkled here and there. Kinda of a pulpy feel to it. Not bad, would mind if it was picked up by Dark Horse or a publisher like that.

Got my General on Saturday and he's real nice. Obviously not the most exciting figure, but I got him to fill the role of General Ross on my shelf and I'll find spots for his extra heads somewhere on my Joe shelf.

His right leg kept popping off the socket when I got him which was annoying, but a little heat and a hard push seems to have it solidly on. At least good to know that these are easily reassembled.

And can report that the MF neck does fit perfectly onto a Classified body (at the last body I tested it on) so if you want to put a MF head on a Classified figure and not deal with filling in the big socket in the head, a neck swap is definitely on the table.

I'll probably end up with Donner Party soon and I think FBD has sold me on Caligari as well to join my Red Shadows ranks. The bio weapon from The Rock only helps sell me on him.

I have played Chicken with the Devil with these things' legs, because for Declan and all FOUR of my Delta Reds (three Urban, one Nocturnal), to get their thigh straps on, I've just strongarmed the legs off the balls, and SO FAR, no breakage or even loosening.

I will likely give the Eraser a hot bath, because I don't wanna risk any clear joints, lol.

I may be stupid, but I'm not THAT stupid.

That's my older boy.

"Wanna see a big box of toys?"

"...Sure..." <Drags himself out of bed.>

He was intrigued by the Polar bear, but quickly lost interest when I started spouting off the lore of Monster Force. He's not indifferent to my collecting, he's very much my kid, but is more interested in Star Wars.
