Operation Monster Force

I know he's not from this line specifically but they use the same mold... Anyone have experience taking apart the William/Killoworg werewolf body? White version just showed up and I'm debating if I want to keep the vest on or not. I think I'm gonna keep the pants on because I like how it breaks up the fur on the body overall, but lumberwolf I'm iffy on.
 
Yes. I initially had specifically the white one "nekkid," until the LooseCollector ones were revealed, and I was like, well, I can't have TWO white werewolves without clothes lol.

Boiling water is your friend.
 
Also, I don't wanna keep posting my own collection/plans, but if it inspires someone to supplement their own, since it sounds like people want to...

The McFarlane Walking Dead zombies will NOT be staying, and I've already started taking them down. I just didn't wanna leave TFK up there all by his lonesome lol. I'll definitely be digging out What If? Scarlet Witch & picking up Iron Man to add until it gets too crowded with official OMF zombies. Patriot Studio Licker, Fwoosh Skelly, Kulu World Skelly, and two Boss Fight Skellies. I've since added another BFS (already had it, it was just in storage in cowboy gear, so he's now nekky in this display), and the AWFUL Palm Elf diecast (which was not advertised as being 100% diecast, otherwise I never would've gotten it). I want the rest of the BFS, just...money lol...I do have a GhostRabbit one in my PoL (it was on massive sale).

McFarlane Fortnite Dire, two of the NECA American in London Nightmare Demons (with their different heads), and the OG Kenner RGB, because he's a short king. 😅

Mezco One:12 Collective 2019 Hellboy, Jada BL Creature, DC Direct Flarrowverse John Constantine, a custom swap I stole from a friend of Kendra the Vampire Slayer (from Buffy), which consists of DP2 Domino's body, BS Jyn Erso's vest, and L+T King Valkyrie's head (as well as the Slayer Scythe from a DST Faith figure), and 4H FO Creature.

Unfortunately, with the Boss Fight measurements they gave us with "human" Lobster Johnson being bigger than OMF, their HB is gonna be HUGE, which, if that's your thing, go for it, I just think it's too big for my display. (Still gettin' 'em, just ain't gonna mix 'em into OMF, lmao)

I just used a hairdryer on mine. If that's still not good enough, give him a nice hot bath. He'll thank you for it.

...lol and my heat gun is too powerful on the outside, and doesn't get to the inside.

But if MotL had success with the dry method, I'd absolutely recommend that.

Just get him warm.

I got a huge electrical problem / bill at my house two hours after William arrived from BBTS, and I'm glad I spent the fun money already before real life hit me. I am so snakebit this month.

At this point it's laughable. Fortunately I had a good year last year in terms of writing/freelancing so I'll be fine, I save for stuff like this like a squirrel before a nuclear winter (my partner regularly tells me to NOT stop buying action figures because it's the only time I ever spend money on myself, everything goes into the "oh shit" account), but man, I could use a win this month, it's like a comedy of crap.
 
I feel for ya Doc. I've been struggling ever since Covid, really (being out of work for 20 months will do that). I keep hoping that I'll eventually get back to a place of comfort with my finances, but it seems every time that is about to happen I get hit with some other ridiculous expense.
 
Welp, extra glad I spent the money on William when I had it because this figure is amazing. Shout out to everyone who recommended him. I'm kinda relieved the Monster Force and original grey/brown aren't available anywhere, I'd be tempted to pick them up eventually.

I've got the COO Model Jungle Howl and Bloody White werewolves which I always thought were too small, but William actually feels appropriately like a pack leader to them - they're bigger than I gave them credit for and he is a visible upgrade in size but still looks like they could belong together.

I wish his puffer vest EASILY slid on and off, I'd make better use of it, but I don't want to remove his arms to get it off of him (unless there's some trick I'm missing?). I mean he looks great with it, but just wish it was more swappable since I always worry about wear and tear on joints.
 
Whelp. I'm bummed. Had something come up, and had to cancel my preorders. I'll still get them, just not sure when, or if I'll have to look for them second hand.
