Operation Monster Force

I'm not necessarily into Eagle Force, but if they did some of their homage characters I'd look that way. Like the Megaforce guy or Big Trouble guy or the, umm, Faxel Oley they just revealed.
 
I can't rule out buying anything FMF do in the 1/12 space. So much of it sounds so good.

It would be nice to get a little more of their product in hand before preordering a ton more.

And regarding an 'incomplete' Red Shadows team I am hopeful they do a Creature From the Black Lagoon homage figure whose head (maybe an alt head) can be swapped onto a Crimson Moon body to get a reasonable Kraken stand In.

I believe Miranda and Harker are the two in the first pick here. I think they look alright, if falling a bit victim to having the design philosophy that men need to be covered head to toe in gear while ladies really should have low-cut tops and bare midriffs. I'm just saying, equal opportunity. Give us Dracula in a belly-shirt you cowards!

 
OK... but who is the monkey in the grey suit holding the guitar?

Also has the Phantom Corps guy in the green fatigues and beret been solicited? I'mma need a couple of them thar fellers.

I mean... I remember that guy but didnt care because it only came with the masked head which I found boring. This unmasked head looks fantastic though. Maybe this will be a show or retailer exclusive variant?

Also, getting a closer look at some of those loose heads in the front of the displays, it looks like they have paiznted that Joe Colton head in all the hair colors Hasbro used back in the late 60's... cheeky bastards. That could tempt me for sure. It looks like they even did an African American version of the head (just like Hasbro)...

The money is the 2nd figure in their Fresh Monkeys line and is based on Buckaroo Bonzai (but you wouldn't be wrong to think Peewee Herman).

I think the uniformed Declan is the con exclusive.

What have they done to my girl?

She started as an awesome rockabilly punk chick with a cigarette, then got turned into a generic jacket lady.

Edit: oh damn. I just noticed the General Mamba comes with his zombie head. Have to get him for sure.
 
Thanks... I'll grab one of the exclusive and then one of the masked generic to toss away the masked head and use the second unmasked head that comes with that exclusive.

As for the Fresh Monkeys line, I only remember them showing the one in the tux with others to come, so Buckaroo Bamzai guy is new to me.

Also didnt mention before but the Eagle Force guy is also exciting for me.

Honestly FMF might have my favorite toy line(s) going.

They showed the grey test of the Buckaroo Banzai Monkey a while back at a show. I'm pretty sure this is the first time we've seen him in color.

You're not wrong. Like, it's a fine looking generic jacket lady, all things considered, but it is a very... early 2000's generic action lady sort of getup.

The figure you’re talking about is their overall convention exclusive this year. It should go up later this year but it’ll be higher than the con price of 39.99

They will be at SDCC. They're sharing a table with someone, but they'll be there. You can get the con exclusive order in if nothing else.
