Cobra Commander often doesn’t have a matching color of blue hood to his uniform so I’m fine with the blue not matching the classic body perfectly. Everyone will have their preferences but it not matching isn’t necessarily wrong.

So, at Zolocon I picked up Halloween Boy, but didn't open it until today, because I live in the North East of the U.S. and it's Tuesday so of course we have snow and icy conditions. So I opened him up and he's not bad. He's gonna be a fun little fiddle figure. There's some play between some of the detents, but I wouldn't say its any worse than a Marvel legends or the GIJoe Classifieds I've had in the past. For a company who's only done this for a few years, I thought it was a solid product.

That Bigfoots looks like a God damn Playmobil toy, and looked so out of place with the others at their display.

Halloween Boy - Strong recommend, nice sculpt, fun articulation, appropriate accessories, fun toy.

I finally got around to opening Chatsworth and yes he is quite cartoony and does not work for me as a “battle Bigfoot” but as a gentle Sasquatch, without all the gear and with the closed-mouth head, he is very sweet and a nice contrast to the many “scary” monsters. This is honestly more how Bigfoot “lives” in my head anyway: a mostly passive, kinda friendly giant.
 
The only real criticism I have for Chatsworth and this is probably tainted by years of Bigfoot propaganda as an '80s kid, but the head is way too wide for what I consider a Bigfoot. I'm sure Harry and the Henderson's take all the blame for this.
 
I like the  idea of Halloween Boy. A Phantom-esque pulp-style Demon Who Lives exorcist action hero who advises the Monster Force on demonology sounds pretty cool. But he's a character from an unrelated comic book and I guess I'm too lore driven to cross that line.

Which is extra weird because the Eagle Force lore has an entire team of public domain super-heroes and I have no problem with that. Maybe it is just because it's a contemporary comic.

But I also really want FMF to do a version of La Muerta, so maybe I'm just fickle.
 
The only reason I'm looking at that werewolf is because I like that it has both growly and neutral wolf heads. Clearly not worth buying a whole special release just to get them, though.
