Operation Monster Force

Here's the thing:

Do I want THIS Bigfoot figure?

Or do I hold out for the LooseCollector figure, which is apparently shipping to retailers now?

OR...can you never have enough Bigfoot figures?

Speaking of, I am an Ohio boy, born and raised. And a few years back, I went for a hike with the Mrs. to Salt Fork Park, which is about an hour from where we live, and notorious for being a hot bed of Squatchtivities.

I will say this--no, I did not see anything out of the ordinary. But that place really does hold a certain energy that feels off, and can make you uncomfortable. I have never been one to feel the feeling of being "watched", and I am not even really certain that I still believe wood apes are real, but it felt like every single tree in those woods had eyes on you. It was a weird atmosphere.

It also didn't help that we were in the thick of the 17 year cicada season in Ohio (it's a real thing, look it up), and we heard them loud as can be the whole way down, but the moment we set foot there, was eerily silent in that park. Lots of cicada shells, but no active noise. No birds really even.

Not saying Squatch. But if not Squatch, why Squatch shaped?

You can never have too many Bigfoot figures.

I don't have any version of LC's Bigfoot (yet). I'm hoping to see a review before I decide if I want one, and hope it's still in stock by then.

For looks I'd take the LC one, but I'm probably going to pass on both. There's an outside chance I'll try the LC Yeti.
the Great Wolves are really solid
Ehhh. My Dilim snapped a leg right out of the box. I got a replacement and he's pretty good, but he's alternately got too tight of articulation in some places and too loose (hips and lower legs) in others. He looks THE BUSINESS, no doubt. I'm just terrified of posing him too much and him just going ragdoll on me. I still might get their Dogman coming up, but I'm a little wary of the bigger ones. I think the Yeti/Sasquatch will probably be better since the proportions are a little more forgiving and it won't have the digitigrade legs.

The Loose Collector Squatch is enormous and a hideously expensive gamble I'm not willing to take.

The Chatsworth version is Sasquatch, but with guns and a bandana...
I like that, because its incongruous, because sasquatch wouldn't have a gun...

I always felt like that going to Ohio, I thought that was normal to get stared down strangley by Cedar Point employees.
There are indeed a special breed here. And it takes a special breed to deal with *that* special breed. We basically all just hate each other, but will do it in a polite "Ope, lemme just scooch on past ya" attitude.
