Animated Aunt May works for me, but I still needs me Aunt Tomei.
To prep for Brand New Day, I got my daughter (12) to watch Homecoming for the first time. Besides F4, this was her first official MCU movie. But in order to watch the rest of the Spider-Man movies, there's too much tied in to the other MCU movies. Far From Home takes place after Endgame! To understand Endgame, you need to know who Iron Man is, who the Avengers are, therefore who EACH Avenger is, so we did a FULL watch of phases 1-3. She thinks Holland is a cutie, but thinks Evans is "so hot". It was great to see her jaw-drop reactions to things that blew our collective minds years ago. We got through all 24-25 movies in two weeks. We are ready for BND. (Though we do need to get around to watching the original Raimi movies, at least 1-2, and maybe ASM 1 or 2.)
I bring this up because Aunt Tomei's demise is fresh on my mind, as it was the last movie we watched. She needs a figure. Unfortunately, my Peter Tingle is telling me that's probably not on the horizon.
