I legitimately enjoy the Matt Salinger movie and he cut a very impressive figure in the costume, so he’s up there with Lou Ferrigno and Nicholas Hammond as MCU vintage cuts that I’d love figures of.

If Hasbro is going to commit to doing more of these early adaptations of these characters (like Ferrigno Hulk, etc) then sure. I’d get a Reb Brown Cap, with cycle.
They gave us a Hammond Spidey, so that’s a start. I’d like reassurance that they’ll carry the theme forward, with Brown Cap, Ferrigno Hulk, et al, then I could more easily commit. So far though, they’ve been silent about any further early adaptations.

I don’t feel Hammond Spidey counts as he is more of a variation of Japanese Spider-Man, although sticking an animated Peter head on him kinda helps for an unmasked version. We really deserve a proper Hammond figure in civilian clothes with bell bottom trousers and large 70’s accurate camera though.

America Chavez has been in my top ten since way back when I first participated in the Fwoosh annual poll and there she stays. It's a CRIME we haven't had her yet. (Though MCU America Chavez isn't a terrible stand-in for comic in a pinch.) Maybe we can get a Katie-Kate upgrade with America as a two-pack?

TV Cap - I want to say no but that's exactly the kind of silly goofy thing that I'd be like "nah no way" and then end up buying a few months later just for kicks.

Day #437 - Patriot, Miss Patriot and Super-Patriot
Patriot (Jeff Mace, Eli Bradley, Rayshaun Lucas) & Super-Patriot (John Walker, Patric List, Mike Farrell)

Would I buy? Many of them
Which version?
Jeff Mace - classic with leggings
Eli Bradley - classic with domino mask and additional full mask heads

Jeff Mace - needed WWII hero. Eli Bradley - needed update. Miss Patriot - bring on all of the 1940s female characters. John Walker - that flat top alone would be worth the buy.
The rest would be fun to have.

Yes to all three Patriots please. Isaiah needs an update and the other two just look great. Miss Patriot and Super Patriot would be welcome additions as well

Handbook Jeff Mace and flat-top Super-Patriot are big wants, first day pre-orders.

An upgrade to the previous Young Avengers Patriot figure would be welcome, in either costume. They need to re-do that team from scratch (and complete them!)

Not familiar with the others but I wouldn't mind some of them in a BAF wave. Mostly though my collection would be alright without them.

Enthusiastic yes to Patriot/Jeff Mace, first day available purchase. Eli Bradley update also a yes in either costume as is Miss Patriot as pictured. Agree that Walker with the flattop is just too fun to pass up.


Never knew the name of the guy from the old Nick Fury comic (Patrick List) but read that as a kid. Yes to him and Mike Farrell. Haven't read much with Rayshaun. His costume is cool, would likely get him in a good BAF wave.
