One A Day 2.0 Day #410 - The Incredible Hulk/David Banner

Day #410 - The Incredible Hulk/David Banner

Would I buy? YES!
Which versions? Classic

David Banner needs to have a regular human head and a transforming head with freaky eyes.
Hulk needs to have green slippers on.

Pass, only because that would mean I'd have to try to find the Nicolas Hammond Spider-Man, and be angry if they never do the Eric Kramer Thor.

You bet your butt I want this!!

Ferrigno and Bixby totally were my first entry to the Hulk (and just guys turning into monsters in general) and remain mesmerized to this day. The melancholy music of this show plays in my head daily.

Same. It is the Banner/Hulk against which all other Banner/Hulks are judged.

My memories of this show and his appearances are so hazy they're practically non-existent, but did Ferrigno actually wear little green shoes instead of portraying Hulk barefoot?

I think that was for when they didn't show his feet.

Yes to Val and Aragorn!

I enjoy the SpiderVerse figures so would get Lady Spider, it is making for an interesting shelf with all of them.

100% for a Bixby David Banner in a 2-pack with Ferrigno Hulk. I watched that show as a kid and loved it, would have to get it.

I'm not sure, but remember it was an era of 480 lines of resolution on a 25" screen unless you had one of those new-fangled rear-projection sets that cost the equivalent of $10,000 today. They probably could have gotten away with it still looking barefoot on wide shots, kind of how you could get away with stunt doubles more easily due to the screen size.

Come on. This was WAAAAAAAAY before HD, on television, when no one could rewind, pause, do screenshots, etc. Let the man have some footwear damnit.
