One A Day 2.0 Day #379 - Terror Inc

Yeah... Terror Inc was not a book I read or a character I have any affinity for, at all. So he's not one I think about as a hole in my collection. That said, I would buy him if he were made

I always found Terror Inc to be a deep cut inclusion in that proposed wave from early Hasbro ML. That's still the first, only, and last time I've instance of hearing about this character. I have no desire for this figure/character.

Pass. I've never read anything with him in it, beyond his appearances in the "Mercs for Money" Deadpool stuff ... and the way that was written could've been basically any other character under the mask.

The classic look is kind of cool, but I'm past my days of buying ML figures and then reading up on the character to learn who it is I just bought. Which is a shame, because that used to be really fun. I remember picking up the "Night Thrasher: Four Control" mini after grabbing the Kingpin wave figure, or any number of weird, ancillary Spider-Verse tie-in books because of weird, ancillary Spider-Verse figures.

Terror was first introduced* in the Epic Comics "Shadowline" set of comics as a side character - it was an attempt to create a new comic universe that was interconnected in the late 80's that was more adult (as was Epic's goal). He then had a limited run series in the early 90's in the Marvel Universe proper under Terror, Inc. I liked those Shadowline books, but it didn't last long and wasn't very popular. I think it starting while Marvel's bigger "New Universe" attempt was falling apart didn't help it get traction.

*The character was called Shreck in the Epic series, but essentially the same character although I don't think that was confirmed in the books - in this era Shreck would have been from a different Earth in the multiverse and Terror would be the 616 version.
