Hopefully the retro card version that's coming will be classic on the correct body but there are several other versions I'd get too. Especially his X-Men and Avengers costumes.

Gawd.. Sam has had some really, really ugly costumes over the weeks. ‘Course that’s a problem that’s plagued most of the New Mutants. Sam is certainly no exception. Most of those are hard, very hard passes. Figure the training outfit will be coming. Images 5-6 are preferred looks for him.
BTW, on a tangent, anyone remember when Sam’s blast field went from encompassing his whole body, and making him “practically invulnerable when he’s blasting” to just encompassing his lower half (are these self propelling bouts of flatulence now?) and turning him into more of wennie?

Classic New Mutants training suit is first choice.
I like the costumes that have an aviator influence. The purple one on the OHotMU card could use a re-do. I'd take most of the 90s costumes, as goofy as they are. The USAvengers one is pretty cool too.

We only have 2 releases of Cannonball (legless and 3 pack), right? Or are you including the Toy Biz figure?

There were all 3 Hasbro releases, but yes I was including the 2007 Walmart 2-pack version (packaged with Domino) along with the 2019 Wendigo BAF wave legless version and the 2021 X-Force 3 pack repaint version with legs (also packaged with a Domino but also Rictor). Yes, the 2007 one is badly outdated from those early dark days of Hasbro, but I do still have it.
