Don’t want Frankencastle, but now I really want to find out the story behind it.

I want Frankencastle.

I conceptually hate the variations of Punisher like War Machine armour Frank and cosmic Ghost Rider, it’s too looney tunes, but I just think Frankencastle would be a fun figure. I got Cosmic GR for the same reason, it’s just a fun figure set of a dumb idea.

Also once the novelty of the gimmick has worn off there’s scope for custom fodder fun if the figure is fundamentally well designed and articulated.

Would I buy? YES!
Which version? Standard with a bunch of body morphing accessories

Will Impossible Man be like Doop and Throg - locked into a Maximum figure? Will he be more articulated than the original?

Yeah, I'd get Impy. Like Agatha, he'd be fun to throw on a shelf with alternate F.F. members/ F.F. associates: Thundra, Tigra, Power-Man, Sharon Ventura, Wyatt Wingfoot, Agatha Harkness, Willie Lumpkin ...

Total pass if he was a slug figure, though. He's just the right scale where I'm not sure how/ if they'd implement functional articulation on him, like the MCU Howard the Duck or Spider-Ham.

Yes for Impy! I think they can provide at least some articulation for him at this point, he isn't that thin/small. But he'd need to come with someone else I think, hard to see him selling too well as a standalone figure. Pair him up with Annihilus.
