Absolutely in for Blue Shield. And the costume pictured, his original, is my preference. The costume he wore during the Busiek/Pérez run was a rare design miss for me.
 
100% yes. Always liked Blue Shield as the superhero security protector for Project Pegasus. Prefer the pictured costume but would also pick up the later Initiative look. He's got an interesting background the comics never fully explored.
 
On principle, yes, since he's a pre-1990 Marvel hero. In practice, I have no idea where the hell I'd display him. Eventually I'll end up assembling an "oddballs of the Marvel Universe" shelf with characters like him or Deathlok that don't naturally work on any character/ title's shelf.
